    A condition of shifting to second gear during a fourth gear command (shifts 1-2-3-2) is usually caused by a
    stuck forward clutch control valve or a broken spring for this valve.

    Forward Clutch Control Valve

    NOTE: If the spring is broken you can replace it with anything close in tension-it is simply a return spring.
