    Intellectual game “The Smartest “


    Aims: 1. to develop pupils scope,to develop pupils’ intellect.2. to arouse interest in learning
    English.
    Visual aids: active board, cards, worksheets
    PROGRAMME :
    GREETING:- Good morning dear pupils! Welcome to our intellectual game “ The Smartest “.
    We are glad to see you and hope you’ll enjoy to this game.
    Pupils from 9th forms will participate in this game and have 4 teams. “Slytherin”, Gryffindor”,
    “Ravenclaw”, “Hufflepuff”.

    1st round . 1) Word search.


    2nd round. Match the idiom with its meaning .10 points for each correct answer (total 100
    points) .

    2.1 Riddles

    1. What has to be broken before you can use it? An egg


    2. It belongs to you, but other people use it more than you do. What is it? Your name
    3. Mary has four daughters, and each of her daughters has a brother. How many children
    does Mary have? Five (each daughter has the same brother)
    4. You see me once in June, twice in November and not at all in May. What am I? The
    letter “e”
    5. Two fathers and two sons are in a car, yet there are only three people in the car. How?
    They are a grandfather, father and son.
    3rd round . Brain time. Game consists 5 levels:

    to win but to take part. Every student has been an important part of the team. We really
