 Step 1: How do you feel when training these skills?

-let me take the extending vocabulary, for example, If you learn new
words and feel bored, you may find it difficult to remember the word,
but if you learn it with excitement or happiness you will find it easy to
learn those words

-There are a variety of different attitudes to language learning

and teaching, including your own
-Language learners with positive attitudes like excitement, happiness,
and confidence are more likely to persevere and succeed in learning
new languages, while language learners with negative attitudes like
boredom, frustration, anger, and inadequacy are more likely to give up
and fail
-Similar to the other skills you should have a positive attitude when
you want to improve them
 Step 2: how do you know or how well you understand the
language you are about to learn?
- I will take the dealing with grammar, in Vietnam, our
sentence structure is S + V + O
-But in Korea, their sentence structure is S+O+V
저는 밥을 먹어요
So when you learn Korean grammar, but you don’t have some
basic knowledge about it, you try to apply Vietnamese grammar
to it, it will lead to some fault mistakes in the learning process
- So, when training language skills, it's helpful to research
some basic information about the language.
Like: + the alphabet: Knowing the alphabet is a huge step in the
right direction and it can be done rather quickly in many languages.

+ Pronunciation: you just need to be aware of the sounds,

so that you can practice the correct pronunciation as you learn the language

+ Basic Sentences: this will give you a feel for the

structure of the language

+ Key Verbs: Learning the top 4 or 5 most important

verbs in the language you’re learning can drastically improve how much you are able
to understand

+ Frequently-Used Vocabulary: make sure to

find a source that has lots of examples and explanations to really understand and
remember them

 After learning these few things, you will have a good foundation to build upon

 STEP 3: How well are you doing?

When learning a new language, we often forget to
estimate our process
- During the language training skills, it is important to
assess your learning progress,

To assess your reading skills, you can try reading a book or an article in
the target language and note how much you understand. For writing, you
can attempt to write a short paragraph or essay on a topic in the target
language. To evaluate your speaking and listening skills, you can record
yourself speaking in the target language or listen to a conversation or
podcast in the language.

Step 4: What do you need to do next?

-A well-defined goal for each skill can help learners stay

focused, motivated, and on track, increase their chances
of success, avoid failure, and ultimately achieve their
desired level of proficiency in their target SKILL
Without a clear goal, learners may become
overwhelmed, discouraged, or even give up on their
language-learning journey altogether
-When setting a language learning goal, it is important to
make it specific, measurable, achievable, and relevant.
---For example, in speaking instead of simply saying "I
want to speak English ", a more effective goal might be
"I want to be able to hold a basic conversation in English
within 3 months".
Or Instead of learning “100 new words,” you can set a goal
of learning the vocabulary words related to transportation,
body parts, or types of clothing in your target language

 Step 5: How do you prefer to learn/practice

those skills
- I’ll take two girls for example, they both want to
improve their listening skill, this girl likes to listen to
music or podcast, but the other girl prefer to listen to
foreigner
- So my point is, that every language learner has different
preferences and learning styles when it comes to
improving their language skills. Some may prefer
traditional methods like attending classes and studying
textbooks, while others may prefer more interactive and
immersive methods like watching movies, listening to
music, or talking with native speakers. It's important to
find the learning methods that work best for you and
stick with them to consistently improve your language
skills.
 Step 6: Do you need to build up your
confidence?
- When you are about to approach a foreigner,
you feel worried, sweating, and your heart beats
fast. When learning a new language, it is
common to make mistakes and feel unsure of
oneself, but having confidence can help learners
overcome these challenges and continue to
progress. They are more likely to feel comfortable using the language in
real-life situations, such as speaking with native speakers or participating in
conversations.

 Step 7: How do you organize…?

"Every language learner has a different way of
organizing their training skills."
1. Focus on the skills i need most
2. Create a schedule: Set aside specific times for this
skill and stick to my schedule as much as possible.

3. Use a variety of resources: Use a mix of textbooks,

online resources, apps, and other materials to keep my
writing process interesting and engaging.

4. Practice regularly: Make writing become a part of

my daily routine, even if it's just for a few minutes
each day. Regular practice will help me to retain what
I learn.

5. Get feedback: Find a language partner or teacher

who can give me feedback on my writing skill and help
me to improve it.

By following these strategies, I can train each skill

effectively and efficiently.
Language learners like ours need to experiment with different methods and find what works best for
us
