Statement of
the Problem
The study intends to determine the Online
Business Tendencies of Generation Z.
The study specifically seeks to answer the following questions:

What is the profile of the participants in terms of:


a. Sex
b. Economic Status
What are the tendencies of the Generation Z in
Online Businesses?
a. Willingness to put up a business
b. Types of online business
What are the reasons why the participants are willing/not willing
to put a business?

What are the online business tendencies of the participants


when grouped according to profile?
SCOPE AND
LIMITATIONS
The primary focus of this study is to focus on the online
perceptions of Generation Z. This study also contains the
profile of Generation Z participants.

The willingness to start up a business, a type of online


business that they upraised.
This study is a descriptive research focusing on the association
between the Generation Z Online Business Tendencies and attention
span of 50 senior high school students of Liceo De La Salle Bacolod
under Accountancy Business and Management strand in the second
term of the Academic year, 2020 - 2021.

This study covers the collaboration and honesty of the respondents in


answering the questions.
Research Design
Descriptive research aims to accurately and systematically describe a
population, situation or phenomenon.

It can answer what, where, when and how questions.

Descriptive research involves gathering data that describe events and


then organizes, tabulates, depicts, and describes the data collection.
This study made use of the quantitative design in Generation
Z Online Business Perceptions since the researchers
categorized textual into numerical data.

The researchers found it convenient and especially applicable


in the conduct of the study to utilize questionnaires in
acquiring the desired data.
Participants of
the Study
Senior High School students of University of St. La Salle
taking up Accountancy, Business and Management that
are officially enrolled in the second semester of the
Academic Year 2020-2021.
Data Gathering
Procedure
Letter of request to be signed by a research teacher.
Identification of the participants .
Creation of a survey form.
Distribution of the survey form to the participants.
Short form that indicates the willingness and
awareness of the participants' participation.
Participants will complete the survey, and their
answers will be recorded automatically in Google
Sheets.
Analyzation of the responses.

Chart 1: Profile of the participants
49 out of 251 ABM students are females as they were classified as 1st due to the
difference in the quantity compared to 34 Males.
Chart 2: Willingness of the participants in putting up a business
51 out of 85 students are willing to put up a business.
32 out of 85 students are not willing to put up a business.
