Chapter 5

Summary

This study aimed to determine the effects of having entrepreneurial mindset to the academic
performance of grade and 12 ABM. Specially, to describe the effects of having entrepreneurial mindset
of the respondents. By specific problem or question to answer the following “What is the demographic
profile of the Grade 12 ABM students of Barotac Viejo National High School “, and “How does the
growth of a student’s entrepreneurial mindset get affected in terms of family business, ambitions,
financial status.” And “How does the students mindset affect their business-related studies performance
in terms of business planning and conceptualizing, organizing, managing, marketing, and accounting.
This study is advances the hypothesis that there is no significant relationship between the business
mindset of grade 12 ABM learners and their academic performance. This study is beneficial to the
students, entrepreneur’s and future researchers.

This study is utilized the correlational research design. The respondents were the 42 learner of grade 12
ABM learners of Barotac Viejo National High School. This study focused in the effects of having
entrepreneurial mindset of grade 12 ABM learners to their academic performance.

Conclusion

Based on the findings of the study, the following was being concluded:

1. The grade 12 ABM learners has quite a bit effect of Entrepreneurial skills .

2. There is no significant relationship between the entrepreneurial mindset of Grade 12 ABM


learners and their business-related studies performance.
3. There is no significant difference between students who have a business mindset and those
students who don’t have.

Recommendations

Based on the conclusions, the following recommendations was formulated:

1. The learners must continuously be good on their entrepreneurial mindset

2. Communities must have local development through entrepreneurship

3. Future researchers must constantly be clear on their entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

Having an entrepreneurial mindset is important because of it’s business related task. This study
aimed to determine the effect of entrepreneurship mindset to academic performance of grade 12 ABM
learners of Barotac Viejo National High School. This study seek to answer the questions:” What is the
rating based on the following skills: Business planning and conceptualizing (Quite a bit), Organizing
(Quite a bit), Managing (Quite a bit), Marketing ( Quite a bit)and Accounting (Quite a bit). This study
progress the hypothesis that there is no significant relationship between the entrepreneurial mindset of
the grade 12 ABM learners and their business-related studies performance. This study utilized a
researcher-made questionnaire. The respondents were the grade 12 ABM learners during school year
2022-2023. This study utilized the following statistical tool mean and t-test. Lastly, this study was
predetermined to be beneficial to the learners, future entrepreneur’s and future researchers.
