PROTOCOL OF USE

1) Microneedling technique
2) Electroporation and transdermal mesotherapy
3) Combination with BioRePeelCl3
1) ARES MESOTHERAPY MICRONEEDLING TECHNIQUE
• Cleanse the skin with 4EVER Pre-treatment kit or with a generic skin degreaser.

• Disinfect using chlorhexidine, iodine, benzalkonium chloride.

• Microneedle the skin area suitably for the skin problem, using a certified needling device
(CE marked or FDA approved).

• Apply 1.5 – 2 mL of chosen ARES product to the treated area.

• Microneedle the treated area again (2 passes altogether)

• Allow 5 minutes for product absorption

• Remove the excess of product with a gauze.

• Apply BioReHydra or BioReLift.

• Apply SPF 50 cream

• Number of session: 4-5 treatments every 2-4 weeks for superficial procedure (0.1 – 0.5
mm), every 4-6 weeks for deep procedure (0.75 – 3 mm).

• Series can be repeated 2-3 times a year.

N.B.: USE OF NUMBING CREAM IS NOT RECOMMENDED

1-A INDICATIONS
• Fine lines and wrinkles

• Acne scarring, trauma, surgical scars and marks

• Pigmentation disorders

• Skin flaccidity

• Stretch marks

• Hair loss

Microneedling is a minimally invasive

technique used to treat different
skin pathologies. Actives penetrate
through microchannels created on
the skin by the needles. It stimulates
the skin cells to produce and
promote collagen and elastin
deposition in the dermis, just below
the surface of the skin. The
microneedles puncture the layer of
epidermis, which is the main
obstruction to penetration of the
active ingredients.
Skin needling is a procedure
that involves device that
causes controlled injury to
the skin. Each needle
punctures the skin and
creates a wound/channel
inducing regeneration and
collagen stimulation via the
wound healing process.
Needles’ length vary from 0.1
to 3 mm depending on the
penetration level desired.

Needling allows for 80% more

absorption of topical
ingredients.

The depth will depend on the skin condition and kind of problem we are treating:

• 0.1- 0.5 mm: dermis needling, no bleeding should be seen. To be used on very thin skin,
skin with very shallow vascularisation, rosace.

N.B.: for the eye area the maximum depth is 0.25 mm.

• 1.0 – 3.0 mm: epidermis needling, activation of keratinocytes and corneocytes, growth
factors. Melanocytes are reached in the basal layer. To be used for comedonal acne,
millia, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, frecles, vitiligo, alopecia.

1–B CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

2) ELECTROPORATION AND TRANSDERMAL MESOTHERAPY
ARES products can be delivered via electroporation and transdermal mesotherapy.

2-A ELECTROPORATION: Electroporation has been developed for the efficient and safe
administration of intradermal drugs without any needles. This technology is an advanced non-
invasive treatment that uses gentle pulses of electrical current, opening the pores for
milliseconds in order to allow the active substances penetrate through the membrane
micropores, travelling deep into the dermal layers. This technology is perfect for increasing the
plump, healthy appearance of skin (by boosting collagen and elastin production in the skin and
stimulating the muscles) as well as for soothing, hydrating treatments.

2-B TRANSDERMAL MESOTHERAPY: No Needle Mesotherapy, also called transdermal

mesotherapy, is a safe needle free way to deliver cosmeceutical and injection grade ingredients
into the ‘meso’ or middle layer of the skin. By using a mild low frequency currency together
with ultrasound, the active principles are transported via small channels through the
skins surface and deep down into the cellular level. By using natural ingredients such as
antioxidants, vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid the skin appears healthier, smoother,
toned and more youthful.

2-C VACUUM MESOTHERAPY GUN: This method use the vacuum to allow the penetration of
active ingredients through the skin.

3) COMBINATION WITH BioRePeelCl3

1) Cleanse the skin with 4EVER Pre-treatment kit or with a generic skin degreaser.

2) Disinfect using chlorhexidine, iodine, benzalkonium chloride.

3) Draw BioRePeelCl3 (see quantities below) and apply on the treatment area.

4) Massage well until absorbed and wait 5 minutes.

5) Remove BioRePeelCl3 with gauze soaked in water.

6) Microneedle the skin area suitably for the skin problem, using a certified needling device (CE
marked or FDA approved).

7) Apply 1.5 – 2 mL of chosen ARES product to the treated area.

8) Microneedle the treated area again (2 passes altogether).

9) Allow 5 minutes for product absorption.

10) Remove the excess of product with a gauze.

11) Apply BioReHydra or BioReLift.

12) Apply SPF 50 cream

13) Number of session: 4-5 treatments every 2-4 weeks for superficial procedure (0.1 – 0.5
mm), every 4-6 weeks for deep procedure (0.75 – 3 mm).

14) Series can be repeated 2-3 times a year.
