SULU PPO CONDEMNATION STATEMENT ON YESTERDAY'S BOMBING INSIDE

DIMAPORO GYMNASIUM IN MSU MARAWI.

We strongly condemn the horrific bombing incident that took place on

Sunday morning of December 3, 2023 at Dimaporo Gymnasium in MSU
Marawi. This act of violence has caused immense loss of innocent lives
and has brought immense pain and suffering to the affected individuals and
their families. Such acts of terrorism have no place in our society and go
against the principles of peace, unity, and respect for human life.

We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and their families, and
stand in solidarity with the entire MSU Marawi community during this
difficult time.

It is crucial that we come together as a society to reject violence and work

towards fostering a culture of peace, understanding, and tolerance. We
must support one another and stand united against those who seek to
divide us through acts of terror.

We also urge the government and relevant authorities to prioritize the

safety and security of educational institutions, ensuring that students and
faculty can pursue their studies and research in a safe and conducive
environment.
