1. User configuration guide of MFD

１.１ Please download and install MFD display driver

１.２ Please run the DCS World before the following

configuration and ensure the DCS World user data path
has existed.

１.３ Please register and log in to the SIMAPP Pro,

or directly use your online store account.

１.４ Open SIMAPP Pro setting page and confirm the

right user data and installation path.
１.５ Choose the MFD display page, now it should be
displaying a cockpit background rather than a warning
interface. Meanwhile, all displays ID codes will be
shown on the right side.

１.６ Designate the MFD display to show the game screenin

Advanced Option.
１.７ Choose the aircraft on the bottom of MFD Display
page. And select the ID code in the pull-down menu of
the corresponding MFD. Click blank to cancel binding.

１.８ Open Windows Display settings (right click on

Desktop and click Display settings). Drag the displays
and arrange them with the lowest resolution layout.
Also, set the MFD display in landscape or portrait
orientation as hinted on the MFD Display page left
side.

１.９ Click the Activate button on the bottom right

side of the SIMAPP Pro MFD Display page and make sure
there’s no warning on the left. A “Successfully”
notice will be pop up on the top right corner.
 １.１０ Start DCS World, choose the activated plane
and enter the game. The MFD display will show the
previously bound screen.Please don’t unplug the MFD
USB cable during gaming or change any the Windows
Display settings, otherwise the MFD might displays
wrong DCS world screen, even worse still, the game might
crash.

2. Frequently appeared problems of MFD display

２.１ If the DCS World game crashed while you start

it, please try the following steps.
（１）Please refer to Step 8 in User Manual and adjust the display
layout and set them in lowest resolutions. Then re-activate and restart
the DCS World.
（２）Make sure you’ve designated the display (ID code) to show the
game screen in the MFD Display Advanced Option page.Then, please
re-activate and restart the DCS World.
（３）Please delete the \Config\MonitorSetup\wwtMonitor.lua file in
the game installation path.Then please re-activate and restart the DCS
World and try again.
（４）Close DCS World and change the \Saved Games\DCS folder (in the
user data path) name into DCS_BK . Then please re-activate and restart
the DCS World.(To restore the default configurations, as key binding, then
copy the \DCS\Config\appSettings.lua and the options.lua file to the
corresponding location in the DCS_BK folder. Then rename the current DCS
folder into \DCS_BK1 and change DCS_BK folder name into DCS and try to
restart the DCS World.）

２.２ While running DCS World Openbeta version,

the screens keep displaying a warning page reads users
need to install display driver and log in.

（１）Please find out appSettings.lua file in the user data path

\Saved Games\DCS\Config\. If it doesn’t exist, please create a new empty
appSettings.lua file.
