manually
REFLECTION
-Ohms Law(V=IR) is validate in this circuit.
-The data obtain by manual calculation will be more accurate than the result in TinkerCad
because TinkerCad only shows 3 significant figures but the manual calculation can show more
significant figures compare to TinkerCad.
-The activities help me to understand each component is connected to which component more
clearly by using TinkerCad and it made me more clearly to know how to simplify the circuit.
-Firstly, we will label the nodes to know that wether the component is series or parallel.
-Then, we will simplify the circuit depends on its nodes.
-After simplifying the circuit, we know that the equivalent resistance is 4Ω. Then we can
calculate the Is using formula P=I2R. As we know that the power supply,P is 100W and
equivelent resistance,Req is 4Ω. Then we can calculate Is is equal to 5A, the voltage input is equal
to 20V.
-As we know that the voltage for parallel circuit between two same nodes is the same so we
know that between node 2 and node 6 the voltage across it is 20V.
-We can use the voltage divider rule to find the voltage across a resistor in series of between
node 2 and 6. So Vo can be calculate using voltage divider rule and it is equal to 3.333V.
-By using circuit 2, we know that Io is the current flow through node 3 and 4. As we know the
voltage across it and the resistance between the two nodes. We can apply Ohm’s Law to find the
Io which is 0.83325A.
