I .Introduction:
Books and reading play a significant role in the education and development of children.
However, many children in underprivileged communities do not have access to books
and reading materials. This lack of access to books can have a negative impact on the
education and development of these children. It is important to address this issue in
order to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills they
need to succeed.

I. Problem Statement:
The lack of access to books and reading materials in underprivileged communities is a
significant problem that can have a negative impact on the education and development
of children. This lack of access to books can hinder the development of literacy skills,
which are essential for children's education and long-term success. Additionally, this
lack of access to books can lead to reduced academic achievement and lower levels of
reading proficiency. It is essential to address this issue in order to ensure that all
children have the opportunity to learn and develop these essential skills.

II. Objectives:
The objective of this project is to create a reading corner in underprivileged communities
where children can access books and reading materials. By providing children with
access to books, we aim to improve their reading skills, increase their interest in
reading, and promote the love of reading. This, in turn, will contribute to their overall
education and development.
The expected impact of this project includes:

1. Improved literacy skills: By providing children with access to

books and reading materials, we aim to improve their literacy
skills. With improved literacy skills, these children will be better
equipped to participate in the classroom, access educational
resources, and succeed.

2. Increased interest in reading: By providing children with access

to books and reading materials, we aim to promote the love of
reading among these children. This love of reading will help to
encourage children to continue reading and learning outside of
school.

3. Increased academic achievement: With improved literacy skills

and a love of reading, children in underprivileged communities are
expected to achieve greater academic success. By providing
children with access to books and reading materials, we aim to
support their academic success and increase their overall level of
learning.
