Heritage Building of HQ Office CCG.

The Headquarters building of Western Railway will be completing 125 years in January 2024. A series of
month-long events have been planned to mark this momentous occasion. On the Spot Drawing & Painting
Competition is one of these activities which will be held on Sunday, 21st January, 2024. Details are given as
per enclosed Annexure I. as per the details given in the enclosed Annexure I.

The above series of events are targeted to invoke a sense of pride amongst the people about the Heritage
of Mumbai City showcased through various events with WR Headquarters Building in the center stage.

Officers/Staff and their family members are requested to participate in large numbers. Those who are
interested to participate in the Drawing & Painting Competition, should send their registration / Entry Form in
the enclosed Annexure II, duly filled up in all respect to this office by 12th January, 2024.

This may please be given wide publicity for maximum participation.

Commemoration of 125 years of heritage building of Western Railway HQ

Date : 21st January, 2024 (Sunday)

Time & Venue: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Godbole Hall, 3rd Floor, Old Building,
Western Railway Hqrs. Office, Churchgate, Mumbai - 400 020.

Theme for the Competition - “Heritage Building of Western Railway Headquarter Office” and Railways
(Trains, Steam Engines, modernization of trains, Rly. Station, monuments etc).

Who can participate : Category I : Open to all Officers/Staff of HQ and Mumbai area units and their
family
members.

Category II : Open to Children of all Officers/Staff of HQ and Mumbai area units in

3 Age Groups as below :
Group I : 6 to 9 years
Group II : 9 to 12 years
Group III : 12 to 15 years

Prizes and Certificates:

1. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
2. Shields/Mementos and gifts will be given to the first three position holders in each Category / Group.
A special certificate will be given to the first five position holders in each category / group.
3. After the results have been announced, the Painting of the top five artists in each category / group shall
be displayed at Western Railway HQrs Office.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Participants to reach the venue by 10:00 am
2. Only a paper sheet will be provided, all participants have to bring their own materials required for the
drawing & painting.
3. Participants will be given a total time of 2 hours to complete their artwork.
