Good morning to our Guests of honour, Principal, teachers and friends.

Allow me to introduce myself….I am _______________ from JM1

zhong. I am truly honoured to be given the opportunity to stand here to
deliver a speech on behalf of the Junior 1 students.

I understand that high school takes up a major part of our life where we
are starting to mature and starting to be exposed to what life will be like
in the “real world.”

Our arrival in Nan Hwa High School marks a new chapter in our life
which is different from the preceding years. Here, we have the chance to
determine the direction of our life. It seems daunting as it is exciting,
challenging as it is empowering. The great thing about this school is…
we are assured that we will be guided by dedicated teachers,
counsellors and all the members of Nan Hwa High School to learn new
things, acquire new knowledge, develop new skills, and enhance our
personal attributes in profound ways that will prepare us to face our
future.

On behalf of the Junior 1 students, I would ensure that we will really use
the chance to “Learn to Learn and Learn to Be…”
