MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This Memorandum ofAgreement [MOA) is entered into this day, Friday 11th August
2023 by and between: FACULTY OF ISLAMIC RELIGION NURUL JADID UNIVERSITY
PROBOLINGGO and UNIVERSITI ISLAM SELANGOR [UISJ

WHEREAS the to parties agree to establish affiliation and cooperation in specific

areas mutually beneficial and agreeable by all parties concerned in near future

WHEREAS the collaboration between this institutions is proposed to enhance

intellectual development of of faculty members, staffs and students of the
collaborating institutions; to complement each institution's need in academic
theory building and practice.

NOW THEREFORE the two parties concerned wish to establish the following
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which shall lead to the signing of Memorandum
of Agreement IMOAJ subsequently containing matters, but not limited to, the
following:

Article 1
OBJECTIVES

The insitutions resolve to exercise reasonable effors to:

(1) Conduct in house training and workshop in education maior for acedemic theory
building and development;
(2) Promote research execution in education maior of academic theory building and
development;
(3J Consider organizing ioint seminar and or conference in areas mutually
agreeable;
(4J Promote joint research and publication in spesific areas mutually beneficial; and
(5J Promote other forms of cooperation mutually agreeable by the parties
concerned form time to time.
 Article 2
IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES

[1) This Cooperation Agreement is executed by: lecturers, students, and/or

educational staff in both institutions;
(2J Periodic evaluation ofthe implementation ofthis cooperation will be carried out
and the results ofthe evaluation will be used as input for planning further work
programs.
(3J Implementation ofcooperation in the fields referred to in article one above, will
be governed by technical provisions formulated by deliberation and consensus
between the two parties.

Article 3
FINANCE

All costs incurred as a result of this collaboration will be borne and charged to the
institutional budgets of both parties; and/or other parties that are lawful, non-
binding and insofar as they do not conflict with the applicable laws and regulations.

Article 4
DURATION

This cooperation agreement is valid for a period of five years from the date signed
byboth parties and can be extended based on the agreement ofboth parties.

Article 5
OTHER PROVISIONS

[1] Matters that have not been regulated in this cooperation agreement will be
determined later by both parties and will constitute an addendum to this mutual
agreement;
[2] lf there is a change, both parties will resolve it by deliberation;
[3J The parties mutually guarantee that those who sign this agreement are
legitimate representatives of the parties;
t4l t4] An amendments to additions and for cancellation ofthis agreement can only
be made in writing by both parties;
[5] Matters that have not been regulated in this Cooperation Charter will be
arranged later by deliberation by both parties.
