MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MoA)

BETWEEN

NURSING DEPARTMENT
UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA BARAT (UNISBAR)

AND

DOCTOR NUENG INTERCARE KRABI SCHOOL

Considering the wishes of the Nursing Department at Universitas Sumatera Barat, and the
Doctor Nueng Intercare Krabi School Thailand, agree to establish cooperation within the
framework of academic and non-academic cooperation.

Today, Monday the Sixth of March in the year of Two Thousand Twenty-Three taking place
at the Thailand, this agreement is made by and between:

I. Chief of Nursing Department at Universitas Sumatera Barat the legal address Jl.
Kolonel Anas Malik Bypass Pariaman Timur Padusunan, Pariaman City, West
Sumatra, in this case, represented by Ns. Renty Ahmalia, S.Kep. M.Kep in her
position as Chief of Nursing Department at Universitas Sumatera Barat therefore valid
and acting for and on behalf of UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA BARAT, hereinafter
referred to as;

II. Director of Doctor Nueng Intercare Krabi School, Thailand represented by


Asst.Prof.Dr.Pichsinee Kaoloune in her position as Director is therefore valid and acts
for and on behalf of Doctor Nueng Intercare Krabi School, Thailand hereinafter referred
to;

That: Both Parties agree to enter into a cooperation agreement on Research, Community
Service, and scientific publication activities in the form of collaborative research, collaborative
community service, training to improve the quality of human resources based on equality and
reciprocity with the following conditions;

Article 1
Scope of agreement and cooperation

This cooperation agreement aims to improve and foster institutional relations between the
two parties in carrying out program activities, namely:
1. Collaborative Research Program.
2. Collaborative Community Service Program.
3. Collaborative Internship Program
4. Publication Management Training Program.
5. Journal Partnership Program.
6. Nursing Human Resources Improvement Program.
7. Exchange of community services, including exchange of social-cultural activities.
8. Coordination of such activities as joint research and transfer of technology.

Article 2
Cooperation Method

The two Institutions will negotiate and determine the implementation of each joint activity
regulated in this Memorandum of Understanding separately. We should set implementation
details out in a contract that representatives of both parties will sign promptly.

Article 3
Financing Terms

1. This Memorandum of Agreement will not give rise to any financial obligation by one party
to the other.

2. Each party will bear its own cost and expenses in relation to this memorandum of
agreement.

Article 4
Unbinding Documents

1. This Memorandum of Understanding is not intended as a legally binding document. It


should describe the nature of and suggest guidelines for cooperation between the Parties as
described above.

2. Nothing will reduce the full autonomy of either party and no financial limitations or
obligations imposed by either party on the other in implementing the Memorandum of
Understanding

Article 5
Duration and Termination

1. This Memorandum of Agreement is written in English, both Institution must keep a copy
of the Memorandum of Agreement. This Memorandum of Understanding shall take effect
after the signing is complete, valid for a period of 5 years from the date of signing.

2. This Memorandum of Understanding can be revised or updated based on mutual agreement.


Article 6
Miscellaneous

Something will regulate later other matters that have not been included in this agreement in a
written agreement and become an integral part of this agreement.

Article 7
Closing

This agreement is signed in Thailand in 2 (two) copies. The first and second copies have the
same legal force for the benefit of the First Party and the Second Party.
