Instruction: Form a group of 5. You are required to make a presentation of your information of earth
based on scenario given. The presentation can be poster, scrapbook or model. Read and understand
the information in the textbook page 160 – 162.

SCENARIO 1

Why are these situations happened?

Think about it:

 The length of the shadow
 Four different seasons
 365 days in a year
 24 hours in a day

SCENARIO 2

What are the two types of movements that Earth makes as it orbits around the Sun?

Axis is an imaginary line through the centre of Earth joining the North Pole and the South Pole.
Besides revolving, does Earth have other types of movements? Draw and label the diagram of the
rotation and revolution of Earth around the Sun.
SCENARIO 3

You are required to make a model of revolution and rotation of earth.

You will need:

 2 bottles
 Ballon
 Newspapers
 Water colour
 White glue
 Brush
 Hot glue gun
 Needle

Steps:

1. Blow the balloon that represents earth and sun.

2. Rip the newspaper and attach around the balloon with white glue.
3. Leave it dry. Then pop up the balloon with needle.
4. Colour the model with water colour given by using your creativity.
5. After it dry, then attach at top of the bottle with hot glue provided.
6. Then, try to demonstrate the rotation and revolution of earth using the model.
