new concepts Eclipse refers to the alignment of celestial bodies in such a way that one body casts a
and shadow on another or obscures its view. The most well-known types of eclipses are solar

F. Developing The teacher divide the class into two groups.
mastery ➢ The first group of students will do the lunar eclipses and the other group will
do the solar eclipse.
➢ The teacher provide a model of the Earth (globe), a model of the Moon
(smaller pinpong ball), and a model of the Sun (lamp or flashlight) ( Solar
Eclipse)
➢ The teacher instruct the students that they should position the Earth
between the Sun and the Moon to represent different phases of the Moon (
Lunar Eclipse)
➢ The teacher instruct the students to position the Earth and Moon at different
distances from the Sun to represent various phases of the Moon
➢ Let the students observe the shadows created by the Moon on the Earth
model and identify when a solar eclipse would occur.

V. REMARKS
VI. REFLECTION Eclipses are remarkable celestial events that have fascinated humanity for
centuries. They provide us with opportunities to witness rare and awe-inspiring
phenomena that remind us of the vastness and complexity of our universe.
Reflecting on eclipses can bring about several insights: Natural Phenomena, Sense
of Wonder, and Cultural Significance.
