Report

In this competency assessment, it was required to construct and understand how a three-way intermediate
switching circuit does operate, along with getting the resistance value within the circuit. The resistance
value that was recorded in the 3-way was Common to T1 - 0.2 Ω.
Common to T2 - 0.3 Ω and the recording on the 4-way switch is Position 1 L1 to T1- 0.2 Ω and L2 to T2-0.3
Ω. It was understood that the lamp can be turned on with the first switch, turned back off with the second
switch and back on with the third switch. This type of system can be used in long hallways in a household
or industry. At the end of the competency, it was understood that this circuit can be easily built once you
apply the basic knowledge and practices.
