Job Description:
Working in a busy and popular restaurant and routinely having to cook for up
to more than 100 diners every night. Responsible as part of a team for
cooking tasty, delicious and healthy meals for all diners.
● Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
● Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
● Cooking and preparing a daily variety of fresh meals
● Train other chefs and cooks
● Supervising food service assistants & coordinating kitchen staff
● Ensuring high levels of hygiene in the kitchen
● Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our
quality standards.
● Making sure good nutritional standards are maintained when
preparing meals
● Fill in for the Executive Chef planning and directing food
preparation when necessary.
● Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
