It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the Senior Bal Vigyan 2023 Subject: Biolog -
Classes N to X) for schools in Cluster 2, under the aegis of Indore Sahodaya Schools' Complex is
being hosted by Golden International School on January 6, 2024.
The details of the competition are:
Day and Date :Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Reporting Time 09.30 a.m.
Eligible Participants :04 from classes IX to XII
Last date for Registration :December 22, 2023
Last date for Submission of Project Report December 30, 2023, before 4.00 p.m.

GUIDELINES FOR SENIOR BALVIGYAN 2023-2024
(FOR CLASSES IX-XII)
1. Date of the event January 6, 2023.
2. THEME: Science and Technology for Society
3. SUB THEMES:
 Health
 LIFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
 Agriculture
 Communication and Transport
 Computational Thinking
4. The event shall be organized for the following subjects under the same Theme and Sub
Themes mentioned: a) Physics b) Chemistry c) Biology d) Mathematics e) Social Science
f) Computer g) Commerce
5. Number of Participants in each subject: 04.
6. The participating teams can be accompanied with 01 Teacher and 02 Students, as
observers.
7. Last Date of Registration for the event: December 22, 2023.
8. Reporting Time of the Teams on the day of the event at the Host School: 9.30 am.
(02) Marks shall be deducted for schools reporting after 9.30.am. The host Principal will have
the authority to decide for any delay that happens.
9. (a) Presentation time given to a team: 10 minutes
(b) Questioning Time (after the completion of Presentation) : 04 minutes
(c) Number of Questions By the Judges (03) questions (01each)
(d) Number of Questions By the Student Audience (01) questions
(e) Students asking questions should mention their names and the name of their school
before asking the question.
10. Session with Judges:- January 6, 2023.
11. Last date of submission of project report to the host school: December 30, 2023, before
4.00 p.m.
A) Project Report (03 SETS) in hard copy
B) The students should bring the pen drive to be run during the Presentation.
12. 02 marks shall be deducted for the schools leaving the venue before declaration of the
results. (Out stationed teams may be exempted with the permission of the host Principal) .
Special note:- All participating school needs to follow deadlines of every date of stage given
above.
13. Positions/ Awards
A) Best Three Schools (on the basis of overall performance)
If participating teams are more than 20 then it would be Best Four School
B) Best Idea related to the Theme
C) Content & Knowledge Award
D) Aim & Utility Award.
E) Best Presentation
F) Best Question Award (from the audience). (This being an award for individual student,
there is no restraint for the judges for school)
G) Best Research & Project
14.All Awardees will be honored on the day of event. Certificates for all the participants
will be given on the same day of event.
 It has been unanimously decided by the members of Indore Sahodaya Schools that
only one of the following awards (EXCEPT CATEGORY F) is permissible for a
particular School. (No repetition of awards for a particular School)
 Student Audience shall also be provided with an assessment sheet to evaluate the
performance of the other teams.
 Teams are requested to submit the assessment sheet to the host school duly signed by
the accompanying teacher.
 Audience assessment sheets are only to compare the results, and do not influence the
results prepared by the judges.
 An observer will be appointed for ensuring a healthy and fair judgment during the
Presentation. Results prepared by the judges are considered to be final.
