Nuwara eliya

One of my favorite locations in Sri Lanka is Nuwara Eliya. It's not just me; locals rank it as
one of their top travel destinations. With breathtaking scenery and a refreshing breeze that hits
you every other minute, the city is the highest and coldest on the stunning island of Sri Lanka.
Hindus are well-known for considering this lovely hill station to be a sacred place for followers
of Lord Ram from the epic Ramayan. This town is supposedly where the epic tale's lord
Hanuman eventually located King Ram's abducted wife, Seetha. Another divine and lovely
location in this town is Seetha Temple, a shrine dedicated to her. It was an amazing and
different sensation to breathe.

One of the most attractive qualities of Nuwara Eliya is its moderate climate, which contrasts
with the rest of Sri Lanka. There's nothing like a cold, crisp morning to call for a warm sweater.
The vibrant gardens blooming throughout the city demonstrate the city's love of roses, further
enhancing the area's old-world charm. Nuwara Eliya is filled with colonial-era architecture.
When we see the majestic Grand Hotel or the charming Hill Club, one can't help but feel as if
they have entered a different era. Meticulously preserved, these colonial buildings offer tourists
a window into the history and opulence of a bygone era.
