Religion, customs, morals, and educational processes have been superseded by the addition

of technology through globalization. An example of the globalization of education is that the

students of Sri Lanka can appear from Sri Lanka for the exams offered by countries such as
America, Russia, England, and Australia. Through this, the clothing, food, and language
styles (Allan & Mackenzie, 2019)of the young community of Sri Lanka have taken a Western
style. Further, Globalization has created a society that uses global fast-food restaurants like
McDonald, and Coca cola's. Considering all these factors, it appears that Sri Lankan people's
life has become consumerism with globalization.
