TECHNICAL ALERT:
no more PCS access after PSCOPY in Release 12

This document answers the issue with Passive Communication Server which is no more accessible after PSCOPY in
Release 12.

1 Issue and Symptoms
There is no more connection on Passive Communication Server (on console or by remote) after pcscopy if PCS
is installed in R12 and CPU is in older release like R11.1 or R11.2 .

Such message is displayed during login action :

2 Action Required
Installation from scratch (with boot on Ethernet + installation with PC installer) is mandatory to be able to
connect again on PCS.

3 Solution
PCS has to be installed in R12 only after CPU is updated in R12.

This issue is solved with coming patch m1.403.15.c. waiting for this patch, hotfix exists for m1.403.12.g
contact technical support in case of need.
