1 Issue and Symptoms
After Upgrading to Release 12.0 M1.403.xx the network links becomes unstable.

Following a hybrid link broken, the internodes links are up and down.
A lot of X25 incidents are generated.
Link down, link up, error regarding the synchronization of the X25 routing messages, max IP packet
This issue occurs without reason even after following the recommendations in the TC0975

2 Root Cause Analysis


The issue is coming when there are unacknowledged IP packets beyond window limit (15 packets).
Packets overflows in a buffer and are not managed anymore by the system till saturation (1000 packets max).

3 Solution
 None for the time being. R&D is researching in top priority.
DO NOT upgrade to R12.0 in case of network nodes

 A hotfix has been tested successfully on a representative customer site.


 This Hotfix is compatible with all MD packages already available on BPWS:
o M1.403.12.g (R12.0 TR)
o M1.403.15.h (R12.0 MD1)
 This Hotfix is available on BPWS Oct 11th.
 Installation procedure is included in the zip file “HF_CROXES-15254_m1.403.15h_2”.

 Official report will be done in the next MD package:


o M1.403.16.b (R12.0 MD2)
