1. In most cases, theodolite and other instruments should be removed and re-
cased for transportation to a new point. If the instrument has a carrying
handle, you can use the handle for walking the instrument between set-up.
2. When an instrument has been damaged or otherwise requires major
adjustments, the user must contact the construction bureau
3. Dumpy level instrument can be cleaned with water and soap when it was
used in dusty area
4. Before removing an instrument, study the way it is placed and secured in the
case, after the use do not place it in the same position when you return it to
the case
5. When the batteries of a digital theodolite are get corroded, the surveyor must
change them before starting the work
6. During transportation of surveying instruments, the tripod and dumpy level
can be moved by using rope
7. When transporting surveying instrument in a vehicle, the surveyor is obliged
to tight the carrying case or box to avoid the sliding of the instrument

the instrument for damage, the machined surfaces and the polished faces of
the lenses and mirrors.
9. It is not necessary to firmly set the tripod before removing the instrument
from the carrying case.

centered above the mark.
