Email: naveed.mushtaq@uos.edu.pk DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES As the HR function gravitates towards the center of organizations, HR Leaders are being called upon to make big-picture decisions for the business and create HR strategies that impact the bottom line. To be successful, you need to develop a broader set of skills, including organizational design, lean management, business administration, and a deep understanding of HR operating models. In this course, students will read the textbook and supplemental materials and then apply concepts within a structured learning project. INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of this course, students should have acquired skills to develop strategies that improve strategic, ethical, legal, and financial outcomes for your organization. Manage the complexities of interpersonal dynamics at the most senior levels to nurture strong leaders. Be able to create a vertical-alignment strategy to improve decision-making, people outcomes, processes, and profits. Align HR functions with the organization to execute strategies. Learn ways to address talent management challenges and how to create and enhance organizational talent management systems to ensure that the organization is properly staffed. building analytical acumen and taking a strategic view of talent analytics. Using a framework presented in this course, students will examine outcomes and drivers throughout an organization to assess strategy. Learn the difference between an average, generic engagement effort and one that has the potential to drive superior organizational performance through a research-based learning experience
