(Q2) A boy bought a book at the cost of Rs. A and gives an

additional delivery charge of 8% on cost price. If he sold the
book to another boy at Rs.648, which gives him a profit of
20%, then find the value of A/2.

(Q3) A and B invested Rs. X and Rs. (X+1000) in a

business and after 4 months A withdraw half of the
amount. If at the end of the year the profit share of B
Rs. 1150 more than A and the total profit is Rs. 2300,
then find the value of 5X.

(Q4) Sum of area of square and the area of rectangle

whose breadth is same as the side of square is 40 cm2.
If the perimeter of rectangle is 20 cm, then find the
perimeter of the square.

(Q7) A mixture contains milk and water in the ratio of 2: 1

respectively. When six liters of mixture is removed and 9 liters
of water is added in the resultant mixture, then the ratio of
milk to water is get reversed. Find the final quantity of

current is increase by 2.5 km/hr, then find the time taken by
the boat to cover 125 km in downstream.

and Pyjama in four different shops (A, B, C and D). It also
shows the total number of articles in these shops. Some data is
missing from the table. Read the data carefully and answer the
