Sri Lanka, officially known as the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is an island

growing industry in the country, with increasing numbers of international visitors. In 2019, Sri
Lanka recorded a total of 1.91 million tourist arrivals, contributing significantly to the country's
revenue and employment opportunities. However, it's important to note that the global COVID-
19 pandemic has had a significant impact on tourism worldwide, including Sri Lanka, resulting
