Chapter I

1.1 Introduction
Recently have seen a resurgence of advancements in the tourism industry,
particularly with the end of the PPKM period following the corona virus period. After
being abandoned for more than 3 years, several tourist cities rebuilt and reopened
their tourist attractions. Yogyakarta, Bali, Malang, and other places are a few of them.
And I’ll describe my journey to Bali in this report, along with the amenities I took
advantage of. The ins and outs of the tourism industry were taught to us in a prior
course called English for tourism ar my university, UNIPA Surabaya. This calls for
us to visit a tourist destination and table manner as a final course assignment for the
5th semester. In several cities, especially Bali, they use their citizens to manage
tourism in their city, ranging from handicrafts and souvenirs even the tour guide is a
local person, who explains in great detail about developments, changes and all the
things that are in a tourism place. Apart from Blitar, I also explained several tourist
sites in Blitar, as the city where I live and I born. Likewise, our goal is to understand
the English for tourism course, that is, apart from teacher, we are also equipped to
become experts and proficient in the field of tourism because in Indonesia, as well as
in other countries, the tourism aspect never dies and will continue to develop
following existing technological developments.

1.2 Material and method

The trip starts from Blitar at 10.55 am on November 4, 2023. And arrived in
Bali at 01.03 am. Some of the places we visited while in Bali are Darussalam
Mosque, Buana Mas Resto, Sanur Harbor, Nusa Penida Harbor, Kelingking
Beach, Broken Beach, Angel Billabong Beach, IPB Campus, Joger,
LabuanSait Padang Padang Beach, Jimbaran Beach, Primebiz Kuta Hotel. As
a student making observations to fulfill the assignment for the English for
tourism course, I made observayions of several tourist spots in the city of
Bali. My observation method is in the form of photos, and written
explanations.

CHAPTER II

2.1 Findings and Discussion

In this part, I want to show you several places in Bali complete with
the data I got during my observations and tours there, in 2023
2.2 Observation in Tourism Places
The places that I will present below are really from my own personal
thoughts and experiences when the tourism place UNIPA Surabaya event took place,
which I then wrote into a report with several photos as attachments.
a. Pantai Bohay

Around 5.24 pm I was at Bohay Beach, Binor Harmony Beach or Better

known as Bohay Beach or better known as Bohay Beach is one of the interesting
tourist destinations in Probolinggo. The location is close to the Probolinggo-
Situbondo border and easily accessible from the Pantura Highway. The scenery and
facilities offered can make visitors feel at home.
Near this beach, there is nearby mosque and a place to eat.
From this beach, you can capture the natural beauty of the underwater, and
explore the beach area with exciting activities. Therefore, this beach is always
crowded with tourists
b. Masjid Darussalam
When we arrived in Bali, we all prayed the morning prayer at Darussalam
mosque. This three-story mosque is located at Jalan Cokroaminoto Br. Batur No.269,
Ubung, North Denpasar District, Denpasar City. In this mosque there is also a free
coffee drink after the morning prayer service is completed. The mosque also has a
large ablution area and clean bathrooms. Sometimes this mosque is also used by
tourists as a resting place.
c. Buana Mas Resto
Buana mas restaurant is located on waribang street number 28x,
kesiman petilan, denpasar sub-district. when I arrived at buana mas
restaurant, everyone and I took a short break to continue our journey.
everyone took a shower to clean up and then we also had breakfast at the
restaurant. in the restaurant there are also facilities such as wifi, many
bathrooms and in the restaurant there is traditional Balinese music.
d. Sanur harbor
Sanur harbor is one of three harbors built to support crossings and also
support the mobility of tourists from the island of Bali to the Nusa Penida islands in
Klungkung regency. this harbor is a crossing point to the nusa penida harbor. this
harbor is also a crossing point to beautiful beach beaches such as nusa penida beach,
angel billabong beach, kelingking beach, and broken beach.
e. Nusa Penida Harbor

Nusa Penida Port is one of the main ports serving Nusa Penida Island,
an increasingly popular destination in Klungkung Regency, Bali. Due to
its breathtaking beauty, the island has become a favorite tourist destination
by travelers seeking an authentic nature experience. Toyopakeh Port acts
as an important gateway connecting tourists to the wonders of Nusa
Penida Island.
