Mission:

Our mission is to provide a unique and meaningful way to support students who
struggle with self-esteem and self-confidence by creating a platform for personal
communication through letter writing. We aim to connect with these students in a
personal and caring way, providing them with a space to express themselves, share
their thoughts and feelings, and receive encouragement and support from their
peers. Our ultimate goal is to empower these students to believe in themselves, to
overcome their struggles, and to reach their full potential as individuals.

Vision:

Our vision is to create a community of students who are confident, empowered, and
feel supported by their peers. We envision a school where every student feels valued
and appreciated, regardless of their struggles with self-esteem and self-confidence.
We believe that by fostering positive, supportive relationships through letter writing,
we can create a more inclusive and accepting school culture. Our ultimate goal is to
be a driving force in creating a more positive and empowering environment for
students, where every student feels heard, understood, and supported. We see a
future where every student, regardless of their struggles, can find the courage to
reach for their dreams and achieve their full potential.
Introduction

Welcome to Team Strays, an advocacy group focused on enhancing self-esteem

and self-confidence among our fellow students. Our unique approach is to provide a
personal and meaningful form of communication through letter writing. Our objective
is to establish a connection with these students in a sensitive and caring way and
create a space where they can express themselves freely, share their thoughts and
feelings, and receive support and encouragement from their peers.

We understand that self-esteem and self-confidence can be a delicate and personal

issue. It can be challenging for some students to open up and share their struggles,
but we aim to create a safe and accepting environment where they can do so
comfortably. By providing an outlet for expression and a means for connection and
understanding, we believe that letter writing can be a powerful tool for personal
growth and empowerment.

Our goal is to foster positive and supportive relationships among our peers. We
understand that the journey towards self-esteem and self-confidence can be a
challenging one, and we want to support our fellow students in that journey. We
hope to make a positive impact on the lives of the students we reach out to and
alleviate the feeling of isolation that can come with struggles related to self-esteem
and self-confidence. Our ultimate goal is to be a catalyst in creating a more positive
and empowering atmosphere within our school, where every student feels valued
and appreciated. Join us in this journey, one letter at a time, and make a difference
in the lives of our peers.
Purpose

Team Strays is an advocacy that is truly worthy of your investment. Our innovative
approach of using letter writing as a means to enhance self-esteem and self-
confidence among students is not only unique but also highly effective. Our program
is designed to create a personal connection with students in a sensitive and caring
way, providing them with a platform to express themselves freely, share their
thoughts, and feelings, and receive support and encouragement from their peers.

Investing in Team Strays is investing in the future of our students. Low self-esteem
and self-confidence are leading causes of mental health issues among young
people, and it is crucial that we provide support and resources to help students
navigate this challenging journey. By providing an outlet for expression and a means
for connection and understanding, we believe that letter writing can be a powerful
tool for personal growth and empowerment.

Our program is also cost-effective and scalable, making it a smart investment for
sponsors. We have already set up a mailbox on the main building of our school,
Ubay National Science High School, and have a team in place to execute the
program. With the support of sponsors, we can expand the program to reach more
students, making an even greater impact.

Investing in Team Strays is not only an investment in the students we reach out to,
but it is also an investment in the school community. By fostering positive and
supportive relationships among our peers, we can create a more inclusive and
accepting environment for all students, making the school a better place for
everyone.

We understand that self-esteem and self-confidence can be a delicate and personal

issue, and that's why we are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our
peers. Join us in this journey, one letter at a time, and be a part of something truly
meaningful. Invest in Team Strays today and help us empower students to reach
their full potential, create a more positive and empowering atmosphere within our
school, and make a difference in the lives of our students.
Description

The Team Strays is a group of five dedicated individuals who have come together to
make a difference in the lives of students who struggle with low self-esteem and self-
confidence. The team is led by Arthur Jay C. Javier, a passionate project manager
who is committed to empowering students and making a positive impact in their
lives.

Jessa Mae Tabayag, a skilled web developer, is responsible for maintaining and
updating the website to ensure it runs smoothly and the information is accurate and
up-to-date. Her technical expertise and attention to detail ensure that the website is
always functioning at its best.

Marco Genaro Lumaad, a talented web designer, is in charge of the website's design
and layout. He creates a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that students
will enjoy using. By using his skills in design, he helps to make the website more
accessible and approachable for students.

Johann Palma, a gifted content writer and editor, is responsible for creating and
curating the letters that are shared on the website. She ensures that the letters are
well-written and inspiring, and that they accurately reflect the experiences and
perspectives of the students who wrote them. Her ability to connect with students
and understand their needs helps to make the letters relatable and empowering.

Lorenz James Salces, a data analyst, is responsible for collecting and analyzing data
from the program, tracking our progress and identifying areas for improvement. By
using this information, he helps the team make data-driven decisions about how to
best support our students and make the program even more effective. His analytical
skills and attention to detail ensure that the program is always moving in the right
direction.

Together, the team works in unison to make sure that the program is as effective as
possible. By combining their individual strengths and skills, they strive to achieve
their goal of empowering students with low self-esteem and self-confidence. Their
passion and dedication make them the perfect team to lead this important initiative.

To execute the project, we begin by identifying students who may benefit from the
program. We work with advisers from the junior high school and grade 11 students to
identify students who are introverted or who may have low self-esteem and self-
confidence. We then approach these students and ask them to participate in the
program, without revealing the focus on self-esteem and self-confidence to avoid any
pressure on them. We also make sure to befriend them first before asking.
Once a student agrees to participate, they are matched with a mentor or role model
who will write a personalized letter of encouragement and support. These letters can
be shared on our website, where other students can read them and find inspiration in
the words of their peers.

We also have a process of data collection and analysis, where we gather feedback
from the students about the program's effectiveness, and analyze the data to track
our progress and improve the program.

Our ultimate goal is to empower these students and to help them build self-esteem
and self-confidence through the power of letter writing and connection with positive
role models and mentors. We believe that our program has the potential to make a
real difference in the lives of these students, and we are honored to have the
opportunity to make a positive impact on our community.

We are actively seeking sponsors and partners who share our vision and are
committed to making a difference in the lives of students. By investing in our
program, you can help us to reach more students and make an even greater impact
in our community. Together, we can empower students to reach their full potential
and build a brighter future for all.
