Reference letter for Segolame Selema

This reference letter is provided at the request of Mrs. Segolame Selema, who has asked me to
serve as a referee on her behalf.

I have known Segolame for the past 2 years as she has taken the following courses, some which I
teach: Commercial Data Management (L6M7), Supply Chain Design (L6M9), Ethical and
Responsible Sourcing L4M4. As her professor, I have had an opportunity to observe the student's
participation and interaction in class and to evaluate the student's knowledge of the subject
matter. I would rate the student's overall academic performance in these subjects as above
average and excellent.

As part of her grade in Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level6 , the student
was required to prepare a paper research, troubleshoot computers in a lab as part of Microsoft
Certifications. She showed an ability to tackle all the challenges presented to her by applying skills,
and/or knowledge of the field that she is in. Based on these qualities that she possesses; her
performance was always at an outstanding level.

I can attest that Segolame is a committed student. It was refreshing to have a student for whom
anything short of excellence was not personally acceptable. She was consistent in her approach
to learning and this allowed her work to be exceptional high quality. She repeatedly impressed,
me not only with her diligent approach to my coursework, but also with her questioning nature.
She could be relied on to raise issues that fostered lively discussions in my classrooms. I believe
her attitude will ensure persistence and therefore success for the venture she now plans to
establish.

Segolame is confident, self-driven and responsible. She is disciplined and very motivated. These
attributes that she already displays puts her in a sound position to responsibly manage her duties
in whatever field she pursues. On the basis of the above, I have no hesitation in recommending
her in pursuance of her desired career.

If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me.

Yours faithfully
