Concepts that I learned in the current semester:

The course has been very instrumental in my career as a developer. This course has given me an

opportunity to explore emerging technologies. I was attracted to cloud computing because of its

huge popularity that it has gained recently. Most of the organizations are still reluctant to migrate

into the cloud environment despite the many benefits they are likely to come across from the

cloud environment.

Work proposal

In the final project, I decided to explore some of the issues and challenges experienced by

organizations when migrating into the cloud environment. This information is critical since it

would help organizations which are struggling to migrate into the cloud environment with vital

information which would help them to be better prepared for the process. One of the most

interesting things that I have learned in the course of this project is that cloud migration is not a

one-time thing but it should be an ongoing process. Cloud migration requires comprehensive

planning and preparation before the migration process commences. Cloud migration is a

complicated process but is not impossible, and solving most of the common challenges is usually

just a matter of having prepared enough. For an organization to make cloud migration a success,

the organization needs to develop a strategy that covers all its business needs and adopt a process

that will ensure that every cloud migration step is adhered to and nothing is missed.
