Make your own South African style drum

You will need:

 Coffee tin/can
 Glue
 Paper
 Scissors
 Paint/crayons/markers/pencil colours

1. Cut your paper to fit the can.


2. Draw lines on the paper (landscape) a few centimetres apart.
3. Use markers/ paint/crayons/ pencil colours to create and design your South African
patterns in the lines. You may use shapes, zig zags, squiggly lines, etc. for your
patterns.
4. Using your glue, stick the paper around the tin.

Well done! You have made your very own South African drum.
