At the end of this activity, the FS student must be able to achieve the following intended learning outcomes:
1. explain the components of learning management plan and its importance;
2. identify the best practices in creating effective learning management plan; and
3. promote behavioral, social and academic success in a structured environment that caters to tolerance, exemplary
behavior and learning.

Classroom management or meeting the needs of students can be one of the crucial parts of teaching-learning process.
However, it is the key component in any educational setting. If students are safe in a learning environment, then teaching-
learning process can take place. This activity focuses on creating a classroom routine that will make teachers and students
more productive. As a pre-service teacher, you should be committed in making classroom a safe and challenging environment,
engaging your students through the curriculum, as well as getting to know them and interacting with each other. You should
develop a democratic and equitable learning environment so that students can learn effectively.

No. Because we have a different ways or techniques in handling my students in a classroom, and most
importantly, we have different personality and with that I can make my own ways in dealing with my students.
But I will take this as an example on how to properly suit up inside the classroom when I am practicing my
career of expertise in the field. But rest assured that I will create my own legacy as a teacher to my students
so that they will remember me not just they teacher but as a mentor that once gave them the courage and
dedication to pursue they dreams and achieve their goals by studying hard with all the efforts, perseverance,
passion and heart.

2. Is there a meaningful effect of a well-planned classroom management in achieving a productive study


environment? Substantiate your answer by providing evidence.

Yes. A successful classroom management system will aid in preventing teacher burnout and reducing the need
for yelling, scolding, or other stressful discipline methods that cause conflict between teacher and student. This
type of environment promotes both learning and social/emotional development. Effective classroom
management involves creating and maintaining an orderly environment in the classroom. Increases meaningful
academic learning and promotes social and emotional development. Reduces negative behaviors while
increasing time spent on academic activities.

1. What is the set of ideals, values, beliefs, and goals on learning management plan?
A classroom management plan is a plan that a teacher designs that sets expectations for every student.
The purpose of a classroom management is to make the students accountable for their actions. Effective
classrooms management increases students’ success, enhances students’ academic skills and
competencies and promotes social and emotional development. The teaching and process may be
implemented in various modalities. Teachers must bear in mind that alternatives and other options may
be considered in designing the classroom/remote management plan. A good learning environment
produces highly engaged students who learn more, do more, and work more. Teachers likewise become
more creative and productive in their work.

2. What criteria and/or standards will you set to judge the quality of the classroom learning environment?

When we say classroom, we mean a place where students can learn. Although some schools lack
classrooms, they tend to hold their meetings in a shaded area of the school. However, classrooms
should be conducive to learning, and learning is effectively implemented as a result of the good
ambiance of the environment; I will judge the environment based on how the students cope with this
setting. We can say that the classroom has a good learning environment if the students are relaxed and
enjoying their time in the room while listening to the discussion. It is not always the kind of classroom
that matters but it is on how learning is delivered to the students and on how they gain new knowledge
effectively on that classroom.

How will you design your classroom to create an appropriate and effective learning environment? Illustrate and justify your design.

As a future teacher equipped with all of my experiences as a student, as well as the advent of technology and the
use of electronic devices in the learning process, I can say that I've learned various methods and techniques for
transforming a school classroom from an ordinary room into a conducive and learner-centered space. The photo
above was taken four years ago, during my senior year of high school. The students in the picture are engaged and
collaborative with the teacher as they work through the day's lesson. I believe that this classroom design is the best
way to demonstrate an effective learning environment. The teacher uses an electronic device to clarify words while
they discuss and is also using the traditional mode of discussing the topic through these IM's. The learning
environment in this image is seen to be effective because students are learning the lessons and participating in the
discussion; they share their opinions and insights and are open to hearing the opinions of other students. As a result,
the effective learning environment that I will create is very likely to be the same as shown in the above image.

1. What classroom rules and procedures will you formulate to ensure discipline and order in your class? How
will you ensure safety and security of your students?

For many students (and teachers), the idea of classroom rules feels oppressive, stifling and sometimes just
downright unfair. It’s difficult to balance the need for order and structure with the desire to build a collaborative,
fun environment for learning. But proper classroom management techniques include developing rules that
guide student learning and set expectations around classroom behavior. Take the core values you want to
see in your classroom and present them to your class. Let students extrapolate and list behaviors that model
key principles. Challenge them to think about what each looks like in the classroom and to develop specific
scenarios that act out the rules they’ve brainstormed. While it’s good to include students in the rule-making
process, it’s also important to remember that the final say on what goes stays with you. When you explain
and collaborate on the rules, students are more likely to accept and respect your authority.

2. What strategies will you employ for rewards and consequences?

Classroom rewards and consequences are essential parts of classroom management, especially at the
elementary school level. Teachers design a system to keep their classroom under control and running
smoothly at all times. Many teachers operate on a reward and consequence system. This system offers
rewards to students who follow class rules and do what they are supposed to do, and assigns
consequences to students who do not behave according to the rules set forth. As a future teacher I will
be doing a reward box, or treasure box. Many classrooms have reward policies that give each child a
prize each week if the child has not misbehaved. Prizes are generally small items such as pencils,
erasers and small toys. Some, also give out free homework passes, computer time and extra recesses.
Other forms of rewards include acknowledging students who are behaving. For my consequences that
I will give to students who have misbehaved generally begin with a time-out or being required to stay
in during recess. The next step is often making the child sit out during free time or fun time. The next
step may be calling the student’s parents. The final step generally is sending the child to the principal’s
office.
