CHAPTER 2
LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Activity I
Answer the following questions briefly and concisely.
1. Having known the personal and professional qualities of a teacher, do you think you are ready to become a teacher? If
not, what are the qualities that you still have to work on?
It has helped and amended me more to learn the teaching profession that a respected teacher should have. It has
contributed greatly to my recent situation where I am gradually recognizing my character when it comes to teaching. I can
say that somehow there has been a change and development in myself but still can’t avoid the fears I won’t be able to
uphold my profession in the future. In fact, I don’t have much confidence in myself, my voice is weak when speaking in
front of many I have stage fright, I am often more preoccupied with written outputs ever since especially now that students
are exposed to modular learning which motivates us to hide more from everyone. That's why now I'm trying my finest to
overcome all these weaknesses of mine knowing exclusively that we're close to the end where we will start training in the
field of teaching. I’m now preparing and challenging myself in the close possibility for us to face and tackle.
2. What other personal and professional qualities can you think of that are important for Teachers to possess?
Perhaps the most remarkable character of an educator that capture the complexity is enthusiasm. Teachers must be
passionate about their particular subject. Teachers leave a lasting impression. Their capacity to get students to think and
feel productively about their education and themselves as students promotes an adaptable view of learning and
understanding that lasts beyond the classroom. This is what quality is all about. Ability to build productive, trusting
connections. The most typical response is that a great teacher cultivates student relationships. Patient, compassionate,
and considerate, Learners' knowledge, Teaching dedication, Knowledge about the subject.
A full-time teacher is one who works for one school for a full week each week of the school year. I suppose there are a lot
of factors that can go into rendering teaching a full-time job for a teacher. It makes use of one's own life; I anticipate that a
teacher is passionate about her job, finances it with her own resources, empathizes with their kids, and insists on being

second parents to their students whom they believe to be their own children. To devote practically everything into the job,
efforts, and duty for the sake of their students, it takes a whole and sincere heart though.

Misbehaviors Classroom Management Technique
Sometimes we can’t really avoid having a close relationship between a teacher and student. For me I'm okay with the
idea like this but it is still necessary to have respect and limits regarding the student's dealings with the teacher and
likewise the teacher should not train too much or spoil the students because it can lose good manners and abuse teacher
hospitality. I also don't think it's vague and it's forbidden for the teacher and student to be too close, maybe it depends on
what kind of set up they have formed. When it comes also to classroom management it should be different during classes
hours and outside the classroom as what I have mentioned know your limits. It may bring both two opposing forces the
advantages and the disadvantage but regardless it’s always up to the teacher and the students the choice is always up to
them. Thank you po.
