Texting can be a wonderful way to supplement your

primary IRAE strategies and Shogun Sequences.

However, here's what you must understand —

You cannot execute the full IRAE Model through texting

alone.

Most IRAE stage-specific tactics (and Shogun Sequences) are

designed primarily to be delivered face-to-face.

For example: The Black Rose Sequence. You can just "text"
the Sequence to your target and expect her to be Enslaved to you.
That would be preposterous, wouldn't you agree?

Many of my clients won't want to hear this, but 1t's absolutely

vital to understand that texting alone ¿isn't enough... unless, of
course, you want some silly "text-only” relationship with a woman.

But, if that's what you want... then using Shogun Method would
be like bringing a flame thrower to a stick fight. You won't need
Shogun Method for that. Any Pickup Artist (PUA) ebook could
probably do that for you.

Shogun Method is designed for "maximum relationship
reward". You want healthy, robust long-term relationships, not
flimsy one-night stands.

Now, this isn't to say that texting 1s redundant when it comes to

the IRAE Model. Far from it.

Like other non-physical or non-verbal techniques inside the

Shogun Method knowledge base, texting can be deadly effective...
provided that it's used correctly inside the context of the IRAE
Model.

For example, let's say you're struggling to find face-to-face time

with your target. You can then substitute verbal techniques for
texting techniques as a temporary, "stop-gap” measure.

This will ensure a smoother transition to the next IRAE stage

when you finally see your target in the flesh.

Now, before we get started, let's have a quick recap of the

components of each stage in the IRAE Model.

Intrigue (“P” Stage)

The first step is capture and hold your target's attention. This
will allow your target's subconscious to view you as someone worth
paying attention to. Attention capture then allows for emotional
manipulation in the subsequent IRAE stages.

It's useful to think of the IRAE Model as one long, multi-stage

hypnotic trance. Intrigue serves as the first step, making it the most
important in the process.

When there's no Intrigue, everything else is immaterial.

Rapport (“R” Stage)

The second step in the IRAE Model is to create an emotional

connection between you and your target.

Once a bond is formed, your target's hypnotic state will deepen,

laying the foundation for an emotional reliance on you. You can then
exploit this state, causing your target to see you as their ideal partner.

Attraction (“A” Stage)

This is the stage at which you escalate her to a state where she
feels intense (and obsessive) emotional connection with you.

Y our target will begin to see you as the only person in the world
who they want to be with, allowing you to execute your desired end

game. This could be sex, a relationship, or anything in-between.

Enslavement (*E” Stage)

Enslavement is the endpoint of the IRAE Model.

The effect of Enslavement is irreversible. This is the point at

which your partner will become blindly addicted to you. Done
wrongly and you'll affect your partner's emotional well-being -
possibly permanently.

This guide will explain, in detail, how best to use texting at

each IRAE stage in order to achieve the best results.

While you can use texting at any stage, there are certain points
where texting is much more advantageous. We will come to this in
a while, however, here is a very simplified guideline:

* Intrigue — The stage at which texting is most frequent.

+ Rapport - Text heavily to COMPLEMENT your face-to-
face delivery of Shogun Sequences.
+ Attraction — Text sporadically, and only when you have a
reason to.
+ Enslavement — Text to trigger the anchors that you have

placed during the Black Rose initiation.

Important: notice that the frequency of texting goes down

as you progress in the IRAE Model.

The reasons for these will become clear later, but the most vital

reason for reduced texting (during the more advanced stages of the
IRAE Model) is Contextual Rapport.

This has been covered extensively inside the core Rapport

module (as well as the Dark Rapport program!), but it's worth
mentioning again here. Quite simply, Contextual Rapport is the
single biggest cause of "friend zone" problems.

Frequently, the Contextual Rapport problem arises due to:

+ Excessive texting, or
+ Texting at the wrong time, or

+ Singularly "game" a woman through texting with minimal

face-to-face contact.

To start, let's look at how you can use texting in the Intrigue

The implication of this principle is straightforward. To win

a woman over, all you need to do is to make her pay attention to you
for a sustained period of time.

Is 1t that simple, though?

Well, probably not.

Before you found Shogun Method, you already know how

difficult 1t can be to hold a woman's attention for long.

Here's another core Shogun Method principle:

A woman 's brain is wired to be on a constant lookout for

novelty and amusement.

She's going to lose interest quickly if you don't target her

psychological weaknesses (by appealing to her subconscious mind).

This is where the Intrigue Ping comes in.

Why do Intrigue Pings work so well? And what makes these

lines different from “normal” statements or "openers"?

How Intrigue Pings Affect The Female Psyche

Imagine this following scenario for a second.

You've just approached a girl at a bar. She's already been hit on

ten times tonight, making you just another guy who will try and fail
to chat her up. You walk over to her and your eyes meet for the first
time.

Now, the five seconds which immediately follow are the crucial

moment in which you need to capture and hold her attention. During
this fleeting moment, you've engaged the woman in “Hot” mode.
Your job is to keep her in "Hot" mode.

So, before this precious moment passes, you need to say

something which bypasses her conscious brain and addresses her
subconscious directly.

Now, similarly, when you are texting a woman, your job is

to keep her in ''Hot' mode. Each of your texts must be crafted
to do this one thing, and one thing only.

This is an important point which will come up again and again

in this program.

Taking the example above, this is how each step in the

process breaks down:

subconscious brain.

This final part is the most important step because this is the
point where natural conversation begins to flow. From here, you can
then escalate to the Rapport stage.

When you understand the principles behind Intrigue, it will

allow you to customize your Intrigue Pings for maximum effect.
This is especially important when delivering Intrigue Pings via text
message.

Remember, an Intrigue Ping is the first step in a complex

hypnotic trance (encapsulated inside the IRAE Model). It does a
whole lot more than a simple throwaway line to grab a person'”s
attention.

We have now come to the gist of this entire program:

If there”s any point in the IRAE Model which texting is most

advantageous, it's the Intrigue stage.

Text messages are perfect for creating mystery and suspense.

Think about it. You're sending information (sometimes
anonymously) to someone who might be on the other side of the
country. Do you see how powerful that can be?

Be absolutely clear about this:

When combined with the Shogun Method techniques that you

already have under your belt, these texting tools you're going to
learn next can be staggeringly effective.

How To Text An Intrigue Ping

There can be many reasons why your first interaction with

your target might be through text message.

Perhaps you've met them via online dating sites, or you've

friended them on Facebook. Or maybe you've had their phone
number for a while but never got around to contacting them.

Here's how texting a woman is different from, say, delivering

an Intrigue Ping face-to-face.

Texting a woman is a different ballgame because you don't

have the advantages of being right next to her.

What happens when you send a woman a wall of text about

something exciting which happened to you (or a Fractionation
story)? Chances are that she's going to shut off pretty quickly,
regardless of how good the story is! Makes sense, right?

Fractionation or storytelling comes later. This is particularly

true when texting a woman. The first step you must take is to focus
on holding her attention until she sees you as someone worth paying
attention to (or replying texts with).

Contextualizing A Text Intrigue Ping

As you should remember from the core Shogun Method

program, the best Intrigue Pings are situational.

This means that your Question (the third and final part of the
Intrigue Ping) should be relevant or situational to what's happening
around you and your target (“have you tried this coffee?”, “have you
read this book?”, etc).

How does this apply to text Intrigue Pings?

One of the biggest advantages of texting an Intrigue Ping is that

they can be more general in tone than a face-to-face Intrigue Ping.

For example, there's no way you could know exactly what your
target is doing at that precise moment time, and vice versa.
However, this situation itself can be contextualized.

Here's an example:

How To Follow-Up With A Texted Intrigue Ping

Here's another key difference between text and face-to-face

Intrigue Pings:

Non-verbal communications are absent in the case of text

Intrigue Pings.

This is great for someone new to Shogun Method because

there's one less moving part to deal with. On the other hand,
particularly for a Shogun Method expert, he'Il miss the opportunity
of deploying body language techniques to advance his cause.

In the case of text Intrigue Pings, the entire stage 1s purely

dialogue-based. This means that as long as you can deliver the
scripts effectively, the desired result will be the same.

Remember: what's your goal at this stage? Correct, you want to

escalate from Intrigue to Rapport. So, in the case of both in-person
and texted Intrigue Pings, the desired result must be natural
conversation. This will then transition nicely to Rapport and the
subsequent IRAE stages.

Therefore, it makes sense that for the conversation to flow

naturally, you'1l then need to master the art of the follow-up.

Now let's talk about the "pull away". As its namesake suggests,
the technique is about pulling away at the most convenient time to
keep her hanging on to your every word, thus holding her attention.

The "pull away" might be one of the few components of the

Shogun Method which are easier to do via texting than in person.
Let's illustrate how in an example.

At this point, you simply stop replying. Just put your phone
down and walk away.

After a few minutes, you”Il begin to hear the constant ping of

her sending you messages demanding to know what happened in
your story.

And when that happens, here's what to do to amplify her

intrigue levels.

You can easily force a cliffhanger on your target without having

to change the subject or find an excuse to leave her presence. You
simply stop, and then return in five (or ten, or fifteen, or thirty)
minutes later and tell her that something else caught your attention.

From there, either tell her the resolution of the story, or even

better, start a new one before resolving the story. To do this, look at
the next technique — Multiple Sub-Plots.

Multiple Sub-Plots

Similarly, you can also litter multiple subplots in your texting

conversation as easily as you can in person, 1f not more so.

There's an incredibly subtle way to drop them, providing

natural conversation is flowing between you and your target. Let's
look at an example (which is applicable to both face-to-face
interaction and over text):

You: “So, we were in Dubai this one time, and on the way
through the airport I got taken into a room and searched. The guys
had guns pointed at me and everything. At first, I didn't know what
P'd done wrong.”

Her: “Woah. What happened? Were you scared?”

You: “Y was shocked more than anything (after living in Saudi

Arabia for six months, not much can scare me anymore!). So they
bring in my suitcase from the baggage area and open it up. Right
there, on the top of the suitcase — someone had planted it. Can you
guess what itwas?”

Her: “No. What was it??”

You: “A full bottle of whiskey. They thought I was trying to

sneak it into the country! (I collect rare imported whiskeys, so 1
know what you can and can't get away with in customs!). ”

Her: “Did they take it off you? What happened? ”

See the parts in parentheses? These are examples of subplots

which you can return to later.

Or, what's more likely, is that your target will ask you about
them (“woah, you lived in Saudi Arabia? What's it like ?”).

These new sub-plots will give you opportunities to deepen her

Intrigue from which you can then escalate quite easily to Rapport
stage.

The biggest problem with texting is that it exposes you to

the Contextual Rapport "risk'. And you already know that
Contextual Rapport is the biggest cause of the Friend Zone
problem.

However, by definition, you could only develop Contextual

Rapport only once you've progressed to the Rapport stage. So, it's
completely safe to hammer Intrigue via texting because there's zero
danger of being friend-zoned yet, right?

Not quite.

How Great Intrigue Pings Lead To The Friend

Zone

Here's what usually happens to our newer Shogun Method

practitioners:

1. Crafts the perfect Intrigue Ping and texts 1t over.

2. Gets great response. Drops the "Pull Away" and creates
Multiple Sub-Plots.
3. Target responds quickly and enthusiastically.
4. Gets excited at the progress. Gets comfortable. Texts even
more and sends more Intrigue Pings with Pull Away and
Sub-Plots. This spreads out to days, or even weeks.

5. Builds great rapport with target.

6. Target shares personal stories and confides in him... over
text

7. Finally, both agree to meet up.

$. Something feels different. Face-to-face, there's no

chemistry. Finally, she says to him: "I'd rather just be your
text buddy.”

Here's what really happened:

1. The guy gets carried away with the initial success that he
had with the Intrigue Pings.
2. He didn't realize that he had escalated to Rapport stage (in
Step *5 above). Unfortunately, he miscalibrated and
thought he was still in Intrigue stage.
3. Ashe piled on the Intrigue Pings, he fell into the Contextual
Rapport trap (Step +5)... resulting in the Friend Zone (Step
+8).

Don't let that happen to you!

Sidestep this mistake by escalating to Rapport as soon as

you've developed sufficient Intrigue. During the Rapport stage,
face-to-face should be your primary mode of contact. Texting
should be relegated to a secondary role.

With this in mind, let's move on to the next section: using texts

Of all four IRAE stages, texting in the Rapport stage can be

the most troublesome for a variety of reasons.

We'll examine the specific hazards and pitfalls that you'll

typically encounter at this stage further in this chapter. For now,
keep in mind these three "Cardinal Rules" when it comes to rapport
texting:

There are very good reasons for reducing your texting activities
during Rapport stage.

As you escalate from the Intrigue stage, you would have created
a powerful sense of intrigue and mystery in her mind. And the more
you reveal about yourself during natural conversation, the more this

You must always retain interactional control.

When it comes to texting, retalning control is easy: simply back

to be physically close to your target.

However, as with other techniques so far, they need to be

slightly tweaked to be used for texting purposes.

Let's first look at how you can "mirror" your target over text
successfully.

Mirroring 101

Mirroring involves mimicking everything possible about

your target. These include subtle things like her blink rate, the
volume of her voice, her breathing patterns, her micro-expressions,
and so on.

However, when it comes to texting, body language subtleties

are obviously impossible to emulate. It's also not advisable to just

copy whatever she has texted you because that will just make it look
like you're mocking her.

So, here's what we are going to do: we will adapt a Shogun

Method technique that will deliver the similar "mirroring effect"
over text - the Yes Ladder.

The complete Yes Ladders strategy has been detailed inside

the second volume of the Shogun Method Black Book*. What
you'll see in this section is the simplified version of the strategy,
adapted to work effectively over text.

With that said, let's first examine how Yes Ladders work.

newspaper says that there”s no correlation between drinking coffee

and sex drive.

So, which source are you likely to believe?

Townsville Daily says, right?

There are two psychological reasons for this:

1. You see your favorite magazine as more authoritative than

some local rag
2. You've got a history of agreement with your favorite
magazine (which is why it's your favorite in the first place)

In psychology circles, point (2) above is known as the Ladder

of Agreement. And the theory goes something like this -

The more you agree with someone, the more youre going to
agree with him or her in the future.

And here's what makes this even more interesting...

The truthfulness or the accuracy information that's getting

delivered doesn't matter at all.

just by texting a woman. Even if you could place a "text" anchor, it

Contextual Rapport!

You already know that friend zone problems largely stem from
Contextual Rapport. And while there are a handful of ways to
remove yourself from the friend zone (notably, Dark Rapport),
prevention is always better than the cure.

Here's why text-only relationships are so prone to Contextual

Rapport:

Over prolonged texting, your target starts to view you as no

more than a name on a screen.

The “context” in this case is that you are experiencing a virtual

relationship. While you may talk to her a variety of topics, you are
still contextualized into a single channel: text.

Here's how you'll avoid text-related Contextual Rapport

problems:

Make face-to-face contact (if you haven*t already) with your

target at the start of the Rapport stage.

This is very important, and something worth bearing in mind at

all times!

The reality is that it's tough to progress into the Attraction stage
without sufficient face-to-face interaction. And even if you
somehow manage to escalate to the Attract stage miraculously

Rapport. Why hamstring yourself, right?

To calibrate accurately and know when to escalate requires

you to observe and decode her body language.

You will need to identify the tiniest of micro-signals - increased

breathing rate, slowed down heart rate, pupil enlargement, etc.
Obviously, this is impossible without sufficient and meaningful
face-to-face contact.

Many Shogun Method practitioners use Conversational Hooks

at the end of the Rapport stage just before they escalate to Attract.
This is because Conversational Hooks provide a natural transition
to the ENTICE/REPEL cycle whichis a core Attract stage strategy.

Now, Conversational Hooks work pretty much the same way

over text as they do in person. However, the danger of coming across
as trying too hard is even higher when you're using the technique
over text.

If you send your target walls and walls of texts about your great
adventures, trust me: she's going to shut off pretty quickly. Not only
that, but the fact you're not right next to her makes it much easier
for her to discard you and get you out of her mind.

What you need to do is condense your Conversational

Hooks down to as few sentences as possible. Then, deliver them in
stages, without overloading her with information.

Here's how an Implanted Command works:

subconscious mind, bypassing her rational filters.

It taps into a huge flaw in the female mind: a woman will

never doubt the thoughts or ideas that she (thinks that she) comes up
on her own. So, if an idea is inserted in her subconscious without

getting detected by her conscious mind, she can't resist 1t.

What she can't detect, she can't resist!

With texting, however, there is an additional layer of danger

which comes with Implanted Commands.

The reason Implanted Commands work so well (when

spoken face-to-face) is due to the camouflaged words around it.

This is especially so when masterful Blotching? is employed.

When an Implanted Command is texted instead, things get a

little tricky.

When she is reading words on her phone, it's much easier

for the brain to single out the part of the sentence you're trying to
disguise.

This means that Blotching can pretty much be counter-

productive over text. Blotch too much and you'll trigger her
rational filter. Not good.

Solution: “stagger” your delivery. This is similar to the

approach that we have used previously with textual Conversational
Hooks.

Firstly, let's examine the differences between a SPOKEN
Implanted Command and a TEXTED version.

A spoken Implanted Command would go something like:

There is a social stigma attached to text messages, and that

anything which seems unnatural to a woman will activate her
rational filter, and you don't want that.

a different story. They must be adapted slightly as they both rely
heavily on non-verbal cues to work.

REPEL phase. Use shortened words (“u”, “ur”, “nvm”, etc) and bad

sentence structure to show that your interest is slowly waning. This

will then send cues to her subconscious to pick up the slack and
make her try harder to retain your interest.

Attraction is a primal, emotional component of female

psychology. While technology is a fundamental part of the
modern age, no woman is going to fall in love with a name on a
screen.

This means that no matter how good your texting "game" 1s,
you will never attract a woman purely by text alone. Yf you are

Enslavement Texting

s of the time of writing, Shogun Method is nearing its

tenth anniversary.

Do you know how many of my clients have ever

Enslaved a woman successfully over text, and text alone?

Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. None.

The Black Rose Sequence can be tricky to pull off face-to-

face (even for a Shogun Method expert). Trying to do it entirely over
text and expecting good results is therefore unreasonable.

With that said, texting can be a great way to complement

your face-to-face Enslavement routines. In particular, there are

certain texting techniques that work incredibly well before and after
you execute the Black Rose.

These pre- and post- Black Rose Sequence techniques are:

» Color Associations - do this to "prime" your woman before

you use the Black Rose on her
+ Anchor Pings - do this to strengthen the Enslavement effect
after you use the Black Rose on her

At this stage, 1f you're still unfamiliar with the mechanics of

different: no verbal script delivery is necessary. Instead, we're going

to focus on a different aspect of texting — sending pictures.

Up until now we haven't mentioned anything about sending

pictures to your target. There is a good reason for this.

Understand that sending photos to someone is a very overt

thing to do. It implies a lot of interest, and can potentially violate
Precondition +2 if you're not careful. It's a defensive move to
refrain from sending pictures of any kind before you reach late
Attraction stage.

How Color Associations Work

Color Associations are powerful because they go undetected

by a woman's conscious mind. The effect on a woman's mind (and
emotions) is pretty much automatic.

We use Color Associations in language (green with envy,

feeling blue, black market), we see it used in marketing (look for a
SALE sign in any store... it will probably be white on a red
background), and even in movies (horror movies tend to have a

green or red hue to them, and action films usually have a blue tint),
etc.

You'll learn how to use Color Associations (via text) to

"prime" your woman before she undergoes the Black Rose

Sequence.

Here's what to do:

Associate yourself with a particular color through the

means of picture messages.

Then, when it comes to the Transmutation step of the Black

Rose Sequence face-to-face, simply use the same color that you
have used when texting her earlier.

At this point, you're probably asking yourself: but what

color?

Well, it doesn't matter at all. You're planting a new

association in her subconscious, so her preconceptions about colors
won't make a difference. However, 1f you want to play it safe, use
one of the “passion” colors, 1.e. red or orange.

What Pictures To Send Her?

So, you've chosen your color. What next?

Here's what you need to do: you need to send her around
three pictures in total, all displaying your chosen color.

(Don't send her more than three pictures, or you'll come

across as needy or desperate.)

There are two ways to do this:

1. Text her: “Y can't decide whether to return this [item

of clothing]. What do you think? ”, then send a picture

of yourself wearing the item.
2. Send a picture of anything which will remind her of
you, but add a filter of your chosen color to it.

Easy, right?

And then, when the time comes to deliver the Black Rose
Sequence, you simply use a variation of the following script during
the Transmutation phase:

“As you feel your muscles relaxing, begin to imagine your

focused energy as a bright ball of [chosen color]... It begins in your
stomach, then moves across your back, your shoulders and up to
your neck... Its warmth across your muscles is like a taste of pure
heaven..."

We have talked about Anchor Pings previously in the
Rapport Texting chapter. Here, you'Il learn how to use them in the
Enslavement stage instead.

Anchor Pings are texts that are used to "ping” anchors which
you have previously placed. You can use this same idea to "ping"
the anchors that you have placed on a woman during the Black
Rose initiation.

For example, let's say you're delivering a Black Rose

Sequence script (in person):

“Let your shoulders drop down... Feel the weight fall right
out from them, allowing you to feel feather-light... As you let
relaxation set in all over your body... You can almost feel yourself
blowing away, like a lone feather floating above the trees...”

Notice that the verbatim focuses specifically on the

shoulders with the trigger word "feather". At this point, gently
place a hand on her shoulder to place the anchor.

(Remember to implant two separate anchors: a physical

anchor - body part, and a verbal anchor - a specific, memorable
word).

So, whenever you want to fire this anchor (and get her to re-
experience the positive feeling you instilled in her), simply text her:

As you keep running Shogun Segquences on her, keep track

of all the anchors you've placed on her. You'!Il then have a collection
of Anchor Pings at your fingertips which you can use to trigger her
emotions on demand, remotely.

The idea of Hearsay is to spread false information by

using an accomplice.

When Hearsay is employed face-to-face, your accomplice

will straight-up tell your target exactly what you want him to say.
No subtlety is necessary. However, when it comes to texting, you
can throw in a few curveballs.

For example, you can get your accomplice to send the

“wrong number” text (see the Attraction Texting chapter) to her.

Closure

ith technology, activities which required face-to-

face interaction twenty years ago can now be
done at the click of a button. This is a new world

to many, and one which is still not yet fully

understood.

On the other hand, Shogun Method is rooted in principles of

human psychology; principles which have been studied by
professionals for decades. These principles stretch back for
centuries, meaning we have had ample time to identify, examine and

understand them.

From this perspective, understand that texting will never

beat face-to-face communications when it comes to the delivery of
Shogun Method.

The reality, however, is that we are finding ourselves

resorting to texted communication as our primary means of
interaction. This is something that you must resist adapting to.

In summary:

Employ a healthy mix of both texted and verbal

techniques - with a heavier focus on the /atter. Texting (and
