5 slices of white bread
5 slices of ham/any spread
Procedure
1. Assemble bread and

1 tortilla
1 oz. mayonnaise
1 oz. lettuce leaves
3 pcs. Thinly slices tomatoes.
1 oz. cooked bacon, crumbled.
2 oz. chicken breast, in thin
slices.
Procedure:
1. Spread the tortilla with the
mayonnaise, leaving ½ inch
boarder around.

Task: Break the Code
Instructions: Each letter has an equivalent number, so instead of using a letter I will use a number, I
will write in the blackboard the letters with the equivalent numbers so that you can break the code.
Like for example is 8,1,13 8 is equivalent to letter H and 1 is equivalent to letter A and 13 is
equivalent to M so you can reveal the word, which is HAM, it means you already break the code. The
first one who can break the code will get a price.

1. Mis en place Is French term which means “set in place” that is all the ingredients have been
prepared and the tools and equipment are ready before cooking is started.
2. Wearing PPE when working in a kitchen helps you to prevent injury by protecting you from burns,
cuts and more.
3. First step of preparing a pin wheel sandwich is place toppings on each side.
4. The 3rd procedure in preparing chicken BLT wrap is arrange the tomato, bacon, and chicken on top
of the lettuce.
5. The 2nd step in preparing pinwheel sandwich is remove the crust from the bread.
Task
Instructions: Arrange the steps below from 1 step to 8 step in preparing a Pin wheel sandwich.
________ 1. Flatten pieces of bread with rolling pin. Roll once or twice.
________ 2. Assemble bread and toppings/bread
________ 3. Slice them ½ inch thick and fasten with tooth picks before serving on plates with pieces
of fruit or salad vegetables artfully displayed.
________ 4. Remove the crusts from the bread.
_______ 5. Wrap tightly in either plastic wrap or grease proof paper and refrigerate.
_______ 6. Spread or place toppings on each slice of bread.
_______ 7. With two hands, roll up each slice to create the pin wheel.
_______ 8. Insert a toothpick if it won’t stay rolled together on its own.
