PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

Priest: Let us pray our Father through the powerful intercession of the
Blessed Virgin Mary,

LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

BLESS OUR LABORS, O LORD.

1. That Mary, the Church may ponder the mystery of God’s life and love revealed in

Christ and the events of our time. Let us pray to the Lord.

2. That nations may turn their weapon of war and mass destruction into tools of

peace Let us pray to the Lord

3. That in union with Mary, we may be constant in prayer and in seeking to fulfill

God’s plan for our salvation. Let us pray to the Lord

4. That the sick and those who find life difficult may know that God cares for them

through the concern of their families. Let us pray to the Lord

5. That through Mary’s motherly care, the sick and the sorrowing may find healing

and consolation. Let us pray to the Lord

6. That the faithful departed may enjoy the vision of everlasting lifej. Let us pray to

the Lord

Priest: Heavenly father, help us to take part with joy in the wok of spreading your
Gospel by the example we show in our lives. We ask this through Christ
our Lord. Amen.
