RESOLUTION NO. 01
(SERIES OF 2024)

RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING HON. CHRISTOPHERSON M. YAP, CONGRESSMAN 2ND

DISTRICT, SOUTHERN LEYTE TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE FOOTBRIDGE
OF BARANGAY MAGATAS, SAINT BERNARD, SOUTHERN LEYTE.

WHEREAS, that footbridge is really needed to be fixed for it is dangerous, for there are some that
was fallen but just luck for they have less injuries;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Officials of Barangay Magatas post a warning not to pass that bridge for it
is dangerous, but they ignore the warning for there is no other way to go to their farm especially for
Barangay Magatas, Hinabian and Guisaugon;

WHEREAS, the barangay has limited resources and cannot shoulder the expenses for the
rehabilitation.

NOW THEREFORE on mass motion by the body in this regular session assembled be it...
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Magatas, Saint
Bernard, Southern Leyte to respectfully request Hon. Christopherson M. Yap to allocate funds for the
rehabilitation of footbridge in Barangay Magatas, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copy of this resolution to Hon. Christopherson M. Yap, Congressman
2nd District of Southern Leyte for his favorable action.
