RESOLUTION NO. 002

SERIES OF 2021

BARANGAY RESOLUTION DECLARING BARANGAY VI UNDER THE STATE OF CALAMITY DUE TO FLASHFLOOD ON
JANUARY 8, 2021.

WHEREAS, Barangay VI is one of the catch basin of all the water flowing from the upland area of Victorias City;

WHEREAS, Barangay VI has been greatly affected by the flashflood that occur last January 1, 2021 and January 8, 2021
affecting almost eighty to ninety five percent of the resident of the barangay. Furthermore, most of the houses at Purok Nipa were
partially damage due to the strong current of the water.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council had made a decision declaring Barangay VI under the state of calamity;

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of SB Member Joeking Gomez duly seconded by all the members present, the
Sangguniang Barangay Members resolved, as it hereby resolve to approve and declare Barangay VI under State of Calamity due to
flashflood on January 1 and 8, 2021.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned agencies.

SERIES OF 2021

RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND UTILIZE THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT
TRUST FUND IN PURCHASING FOOD PACKS FOR AFFECTED RESIDENT OF BARANGAY VI DUE TO
CONSECUTIVE FLASH FLOOD.

WHEREAS, Barangay VI has been greatly affected by the flashflood that occur last January 1, 2021 and January 8, 2021
affecting almost hundred percent of the Barangay..

WHEREAS, the council would like to utilize the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Trust Fund to
purchase food packs for the victims of flood in the Barangay specifically at Purok Nipa, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4 and
Zone 5;

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of SB Member Gary Espera Jr. duly seconded by all the members present,
the Sangguniang Barangay Members resolved, as it hereby resolve to TO APPROVE AND UTILIZE THE BARANGAY
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT TRUST FUND IN PURCHASING FOOD PACKS FOR BARANGAY VI
RESIDENT WHO WERE AFFECTED BY THE FLASH FLOOD.

RESOLVED FURTHER, copies of this resolution will be furnished to the office concerned agencies.
