 ABSTRACT

PROJECT SPECIFICATION

The project name is proposed three bedroom residential house for Mr.Obingo at the Kisumu National
Polytechnic. The project will be located around the main gate adjacent to the building department
structure

The reason for coming up with this project are as follows

1. To minimize the Transport cost

2. To minimize time consumption while on time transportation delay

3. For security purposes

4. To minimize transportation risk or accidents

The problems solved by coming up with this project are

1. Limit the movement

2. Security purpose

3. Promote punctuality for the attendance of lesson

CLIENT REQUIREMENT

The Kisumu National Polytechnic will be the client for the proposed project for Mr.Obingo

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The Kisumu National Polytechnic intends to construct a building for Mr.Obingo using the following
materials

Stones Iron sheet Dpc and Dpm

Bricks Nails Timber for the stratus

Sand Hoop iron

Cement Binding wire

THE PROJECT DETAILS

The institution soil structure is conducive being that the soil pH was tested and confirmed to be 6.7 and
this proves that the soil is basic since the location is not printed to soil settlement besides erosion the
foundation is quite firm for the proposed structure.
The site will be measured and cleared off the bushes around the levelling will be adhered to ensure the
surface is free from flooding. The setting and marking will be done according to the measurement from
working drawing to ascertain that the structure is erected at equivalent position. The excavation will
employ manpower to excavate the dimension. The setting of masonry foundation will be adhered to the
foundation requirement in regard to soil structure of the site.

ARCHITECTURAL REQUIREMENT

The measurement will be in millimeters measuring (12,300 by 11,600)mm.The doors dimension are as
follow (2100 by 1200)mm and window wilbe as follow (1500 by 1200)mm.
