PRESENT PERFECT TENSE VS PAST PERFECT TENSE

1. Fungsi Present Perfect:

 Menunjukkan aksi atau kejadian yang terjadi di masa lalu dan masih memiliki
relevansi atau dampak di masa sekarang.
 Digunakan untuk menggambarkan pengalaman hidup, pencapaian, atau tindakan
yang tidak terkait dengan waktu tertentu.
2. Contoh kalimat Present Perfect:
 I have finished my work. (Saya sudah menyelesaikan pekerjaan saya).
 She has traveled to many countries. (Dia telah melakukan perjalanan ke banyak
negara).
 They have finished their homework. (Mereka telah menyelesaikan pekerjaan rumah
mereka).
3. Pola kalimat Present Perfect:
 Affirmative (Positif): Subject + have/has + past participle (e.g., She has visited
Paris).
 Negative (Negatif): Subject + have/has + not + past participle (e.g., They haven't
finished their homework).
 Interrogative (Tanya): Have/Has + subject + past participle (e.g., Have you seen
that movie?).

masa lampau.
 Dapat digunakan untuk menunjukkan urutan dua kejadian atau tindakan yang
terjadi di masa lampau dan menekankan mana yang terjadi lebih dulu.

 She had already left when I arrived. (Dia sudah pergi ketika saya tiba).
 They had finished the project before the deadline. (Mereka telah menyelesaikan
proyek sebelum batas waktu).
 He had studied English before he moved to the United States. (Dia telah belajar
bahasa Inggris sebelum dia pindah ke Amerika).
