4. The soft copy for Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) is herein in attached (Inclosure 1);
while the soft copy of Phil-IRI Manual version 2018 shall be sent to the ten (10) Public Schools
District Supervisors, and to all FB Messenger chatrooms for elementary and secondary school
heads;
5. It is advised that the school head along with the school reading coordinator and the Grade level
teachers involved in the conduct of this activity shall carefully review the guidelines in the
conduct of the Group Screening Test (Stage 1 for Phil-IRI) stipulated in the Phil-IRI Manual
(version 2018), and EGRA tool.

6. Templates for all reports required for both EGRA and Phil-IRI are herein attached (Inclosures 2
and 3).
7. Grade level advisers shall prepare the classroom report using the template specified in the
above-mentioned inclosures and submit such to the school reading coordinator.
8. In submitting the reports,
a.) the School Reading Coordinators shall consolidate the School Reading Pre-Test Results with
the given templates, and submit these to the District Reading Coordinators for preliminary
checking of the Public Schools District Supervisors; and eventually,
b.) the Public Schools District Supervisors shall forward for final submission the report to the
Division Office specifically to the CID Chief, Dr. Carlo P. Tantoy for Attention of the Division
Reading Coordinators: Dr. Felix N. Bagnol, for MTB-MLE, Dr. Filipina F. Meehleib for
Filipino, and Mr. Ricky L. Pedralba for English.
9. Deadline of submission of all consolidated reports in hard and soft copies duly signed by
concerned individuals will definitely be on or not later November 10, 2022.
10. All 10 district and 87 school reading coordinators are requested to join the Division Online
Reorientation on the conduct of this activity on October 25, 2022, a definitely 3:30 o’clock
PM via Google Meet platform. Link will be posted a day before the set activity.
