Should 10-year-olds be allowed

To leave their residence?

Nowadays, you could see a lot of kids leaving their residence or kids outside, most are
even younger than ten. Perhaps, they, the parents or guardians, are allowing them to go out or
the children you see outside, or in the streets, do not have guardians at all. It could also
possibly be that the parents are trusting their children, enough to allow them leave their
residence. But unfortunately, there have been a lot of cases up until now of abduction in
children, rape, and a lot more.
Some 10-year-olds could be mature enough to allow them leave the house, we already
could actually call them adolescents. Although, we are not sure about their safety, there is no
guarantee that they will be safe, unless they’re with a guardian. In today’s generation, you
could see a lot of kids outside, or leaving their homes. With respect to that, there are also a lot
of missing children, lots of cases of abduction, rape, and abuse. 10-year-olds are already close
to teenage and are adolescents, and therefore should be trained to be independent,
responsible, or could stand up by themselves. Thus, some way of parents training their
children to be independent, they let them leave the residence and perhaps make them buy
something outside, in the stores, and or any responsibility given to the child that requires
them to leave their homes.
I think it is okay to let 10-year-olds leave the residence but you should guide them, watch
over them, or make someone come with them. The children’s safety is more important than
anything, we must consider their safety at all times.
If you let them leave the residence with no guide or companion at all, what do you think
could possibly happen? There’s a lot on the list that could possibly take place. You don’t
want your children to be hit by a vehicle outside or to be abducted, right? Well, yes, it is
indeed essential training adolescents by giving them responsibilities, but you have to consider
their safety. How could they successfully accomplish or do that one command or
responsibility when they are not safe? How could they learn?
Even children younger than ten are being abducted and get harmed. Like Charley Ross, a
four-year-old boy, who was abducted in Philadelphia. Charley Ross was just playing outside
their residence with his seven-year-old brother and was taken by two men who told the boys
to come with them and buy candies. In some cases, children get raped, and gets killed
mercilessly.
Would you just let your children get harmed or get abducted? Don’t just let them go out
of the residence, think about it carefully. Consider their safety at all times. Their safety is
important, it is a must.
