To have equality and honor the Katipunan organization, white


triangle was placed on the Philippine flag.

The three stars on the Philippine flag symbolizes the


Philippine’s three major Island, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Luzon was the topmost star on the flag, while Visayas is the middle
star and Mindanao is bottommost star to denoted its geographical
order of location.

Manila, Cavite, Bulacan , Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Laguna,


Bataan and Batangas are the first 8 provinces where the Philippine
revolution ignited. These provinces were led by their respective generals
who defend the land and fought against Spaniards. Due to revolution
these provinces were placed under the Martial Law by Spain.

Color blue translates the importance of justice and patriotism.


Red denotes the importance of valor, blood that have been sacrificed for
land’s freedom, and independence. White stands for “kapayapaan at
Dalisay.” Colors blue and red can placement can be interchange if there
is aa war.
