BIM is the reflection of technological developments on the construction industry of optimum interdisciplinary
information sharing system based on collaboration in a three-dimensional environment between architects,
engineers, employers and contractors. BIM creates a simulation of the plan, design, construction and operation
of a facility; and at the same time provides information management from the initial design process to the use
phase of the building.

The use of BIM in the world has become widespread in the last 10 years. In some countries, such as the UK,
it has become mandatory for public projects. Many European countries and USA developed standards on BIM.
The BIM system will become a new standard for the construction industry in the future. On the other hand, the
use of BIM in Turkey can be considered as still in its beginning level, based on other world countries.
As ARFEN, we have adapted to this technology and by preparing BIM objects of our products; we started to
offer it to our customers by taking our place next to our competitors as one and only in Turkey and few in the world.

ARFEN BIM objects are digital copies of our products, more than an object in 3D. These objects give all the

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
The Cleanability and Stain Resistance properties of PVC sheet samples produced by ARFEN INSAAT TAAH. SAN. VE TiC. A.Ş.
company have been determined according to the modified version of ASTM D 6578, Standard Practice for Determination of
Graffitti Resistance. The samples have been exposed to various staining agents at room temperature for 3 days. Then
cleaning process was applied as cycle with using Scotch Brite™ brand sponge and denature alcohol. Number of
cleaning cycles required to remove the stain from the surface was determined. Obtained results were given following.

Arfen İnşaat Taah. San. ve Tic A.S. warrants that all wall and corner protection profiles manufactured by ARFEN are free
of any materials and manufacturing defects. Arfen declare that the goods are produced in Turkey. Arfen provides 5 years
warranty for complete product range. Installation failures and application of other installation methods in consistent with
Arfen installation instructions shall relieve Arfen of any liability. Any defective product will be replaced free of any charge
if a claim is presented in writing to accepted by Arfen. ARFEN’s liability is limited to replacement and does not include
any responsibility due to misuse and customer faults and other consequential damages of such natures.
