Course Outcome:
Time Management
Being University student isn’t easy, we must be independent and know to find positive
vibes. Here I will show you the different between university and school:
• Learning Style •
▫ Set goals
▫ Keep studies as your first priority
▫ Became an active learner
▫ Attend all the class
▫ Pay attention in class
▫ Get to know your lecturers
▫ Forms group study with friends
Everyone has different learning styles and I want to show my learning styles. I have
answered learning style inventory questions to find out my learning style. I prefer visual
based on the question that my lecturer told me to answer:
Topic 2: Goal Setting
Setting goals helps trigger new behaviors, helps guides your focus and helps
you sustain that momentum in life.
Goals also help align your focus and promote a sense of self-mastery.
Setting goals not only motivates us but can also improve our mental health and
our level of personal and professional success.
Specific – What exactly do you want to accomplish?
Measurable – How will you track or measure your progress?
Attainable – Your goal should stretch you while still being achievable
Relevant – Does it fit your life? A goal should be relevant to your life now.
Time-bound – What’s the deadline? You need a start and a finish.
Topic 3: Time Management
Time management is the way you regulate or schedule your time.
You can make more efficient use of your study time and complete
your work in less time by using good time-management skills.
♦ Sensory Memory
- If one pay attention to the stimuli, it will go to
the short-term memory. If one does not pay
attention, there the information will be lost.
♦ Short-term Memory
- Has to components: immediate memory and
working memory.
- Immediate memory is the ability to remember a
small amount of information over a few seconds.
- Working memory is a system for temporarily
storing and managing the information required to
carry out complex cognitive tasks.
♦ Long-term Memory
- Unlimited & large storage.
- Informative knowledge can be stored for long
periods of time.
How forgetting could occur?
Did not pay attention to the information.
Did not understanding the information.
Cramming (last minutes study)
Interference (having 2 exams on the same day)
Exercise: I got 8 items from 12 items😂
