Demystifying Action Research

-Mr. Ricky Montaño

1. What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?

- Demystifying simply means making something clearer and easier to decipher. Researchers need to
demystify their research in order to be understood by the general public and to be implemented or used
once interpreted.

- It is really important to simplify the terms used in research so that they can be decoded easily.

-The topic must be well-understood by the researchers and must be in accordance with all the terms so
that they can as well simplify it.

2. How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?
- As a teacher, I will use this to guide me in my teaching career. Also, when the time will come that I
will make my own research, these learnings will serve as benchmarks for my own work.

3. Make a summary of the session either in paragraph or bullet form.

- Before doing research, we should identify first the issue. We must be innovative in making one and
focus on the outcome that will be beneficial for the future.
- Then, we should seek the proper knowledge to be used and plan thoroughly the actions to be done.
Always narrow or demystify the topic so that it won’t be hard to decode. And at all times, observe
confidentiality.
