Introduce yourself and tell us where you see yourself In the next 5 years

Hello! I hope you are doing well. I am Ezzah Zulfikar and I am applying for this Young Entrepreunership
Programme from Karachi Pakistan. Firstly, I would like to thank Infinitum Education and Oxford for
providing us with such a golden opportunity to learn important and essential life skills that unfortunately
even our schools are not able to teach us. I am studying in the C.A.S School, and I am currently in Grade
10. I have a very complex combination of subjects which includes, BUSINESS Studies, Economics, World
History and Sociology, in addition, I am also part of my school’s Model United Nations (MUN) Debate
Team, and I have represented Pakistan internationally at the United World Colleges MaasMUN which
was held in Maastricht,Netherlands from 23rd till 25th June 2023, our team was the only team
participating from Pakistan and was also featured in Maastricht’s local newspaper Limburger and
Pakistan’s Dawn News as well as Geo News. In the next 5 years I am expecting to pursue law, global
politics and world history in college, and later on, choosing a joint major of Politics and Economics as I
am interested in choosing CRIMINOLOGY as my career, as I have always found criminology to have a
very modern, and socialist approach which is essential in this modern era.

Strengths weaknesses:

Regarding my strengths I believe that due to public speaking and debating I can adapt to new
envronments and new people really easily and I can convey my ideas to other people in a very
comprehensive manner which is why I work better with teams as I am really enthusiastic in meeting new
people and understanding their point of view. Secondly, I like to solve problems through innovative
solutions, and I feel like every new challenge given to us helps us improve our ability to react quickly and
trains our brain on how to work under pressure. Lastly, I have a strong desire to learn and improve
myself through every passing day as I believe mistakes and challenges don’t put us down rather, they
teach us something new which we might be able to use in the future.

As for my weaknesses, I will have to admit that Sometimes, I can be impatient, especially when I'm
enthusiastic about a project. I'm aware of this, and I'm working on improving my patience,
understanding that some things require time and thoroughness. In addition to that I am a perfectionist
which is why I tend to take a lot of responsibility upon myself, but, I am working on that, by trying and
trusting the process and my team. Lastly, I occasionally find it challenging to manage stress in high-
pressure situations, as I tend to put a lot of time into one task to make it perfect but, I'm working on
developing stress-management techniques like mindfulness and time management to improve in this
area.

Opinion on why you’re the perfect candidate

I believe that I am the perfect candidate because of my enthusiasm and my ability to get along with new
people, understand and listen to their ideas, and work in teams to solve a particular problem or
complete an assignment with perfection by incorporating everyone’s ideas and opinions. Secondly, my
dedication to learn about new ideas really helps me and keeps me updated on the current situation of
the world, thus, giving me a broader perspective to think on. Lastly, due to public spealing it will be
really easy for me to provide everyone with solutions that are out of the box, which will really give us an
edge.

What will you get from this programme

I believe that this programme will help me grow as a person and will also provide me with significant
oppurtunities to prepare me for the future. I would be a perfect fit for this programme as I am a very
enthusiastic and Passionate person, thus, enabling me to be able to communicate easily with a large
group of people. Lastly, my extrovert personality gives me an edge to mingle up and socialize with new
people in no time.
