INTRODUCTION
Crispy fried wontons stuffed with a delicious crab and creamy filling made of cream cheese and
crab meat. It’s an appetizer found in many Chinese restaurants in the United States. Many
people wonder if crab rangoon is authentic and the answer is no. It is a classic American dish
even though they are mostly in Chinese restaurants. These dainty appetizers are basically fried
wontons filled with cream cheese with crab meat in the filling. They are deep fried to golden
brown and usually served with a pink-coloured sweet and sour sauce.

OBJECTIVES
1. Acknowledge the ingredients and recipe on how to make crab rangoon
2. To learn on how preparing and selling fisheries food

INGREDIENTS
1. Green onion
2. Crab stick
3. Cream cheese
4. Sesame oil
5. White pepper
6. Wonton wrapper
7. Oil

RECIPE
1. Chop crab stick into small pieces
2. In a large bowl, soften room temperature cream cheese with spatula until smooth
3. Add crab stick into bowl of cream cheese and the rest of filling ingredients as listed
4. Mix very well until crab stick breaks down
5. Wrap the mixing using wonton wrapper with small size of square
6. Add oil in pan and leave it until hot
7. Add wrapped mixing in the pan in small batches
8. Remove the crab rangoon, allow it to cool down
9. Enjoy

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, we get to learn on how to manage business for fisheries products. At the same
time, we get to apply our learning from FMT2211 during the process. For example, hygiene of
the cookers and foods, how to store the food until it reaches our customers in good condition.
Plus, we learn how to manage our cash flow also. At the end of this cooking session, we
enjoyed and were satisfied with our product.
