CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND
Corndog, was first introduced by a German sausage maker from Texas. Initially, corndogs
were not made using a skewer, but to make it easier to eat, the creator skewered the food on a small
stick made of wood similar to a skewer. This type of food soon became popular in other countries.
Corndogs can be easily found, usually sold under the streetfood concept. Apart from being sold at
roadside stalls, corndogs are also sold frozen, just fry them if you want to enjoy them.

Fans of Korean dramas will definitely know this product. This product is Corndog which is often seen
in Korean dramas and variety shows. Corndogs are usually sold on the side of the road in Korea. This
food is also one of the street foods that can be bought in Korea. Corndogs have recently become
popular with contemporary culinary lovers. The currently popular corndog is the one with mozzarella
cheese added to it. When fried, this cheese will melt inside. So when you eat it, the cheese will give
you a sensation of stretching, meaning it won't break even after you bite it. Inspired by Korean street
food, we also made a product called Sausage Moza Corndog.

CHAPTER 3

WAYS OF MAKING

1. Provide a container. First ingredient: Add lukewarm water, add yeast and granulated sugar
then stir until smooth. Second ingredient: add flour and garum then stir well

2. Mix ingredients 1 and 2, mix well again, then let sit for 1 hour

3. Then skewer the mozzarella cheese then coat in flour and cover with the dough that has
been left for 1 hour.

4. Then coat in bread flour/bread flour.

5. Fry in hot oil over medium heat, and don't forget to turn it over, when it's cooked
immediately remove and drain.

6. Finally, sprinkle with several variations of chocolate sauce such as (dark chocolate, chocolate
strawberry, chocolate matcha) or according to taste.

7. Mozzarella corndogs are ready to be served
